I’m such a sad person! I just love seeing trees and hedges being given a severe “talking to” with the right tools by conscientious workers 🤣 I appreciate some gardens become neglected through incapacity but most often it’s owners thinking that large plants or trees should be left to their own devices and don’t need supervision like small plants. I had an oak tree in a suburban garden that I controlled for 15 years - mindful of neighbours and maintenance was easier (and cheaper!) every 2 years. Looked good for me and my neighbour loved me🤣🤣
