Our Great Hope

We spend so much of our lives hoping in things that don’t satisfy. Whether it be food, drink, the next series to binge or big holiday plans, time and time again we go after something thinking it will be amazing, and it falls short. Even when it comes to things of faith, we can often hope in the small first tastes of God’s Kingdom rather than focusing on the ultimate hope of an eternity with God. But when our great hope comes into clarity, it drastically changes our perspective and, rather than losing ourselves in heaven, God’s hope engages us more deeply in his purposes for the world we live in each day.
