a tier 1 beacon has effects up to 10 blocks away. a tier 2 beacon has effects up to 20 blocks away. a tier 3 beacon has effects up to 30 blocks away. a tier 4 beacon has effects up to 40 blocks away. a tier 5 beacon has effects up to 50 blocks away. you will not get the effect below the beacon. if you stop the beam, you will not get the effect above the beam.

Hacked clients often use commands like normal minecraft commands "/" to toggle features and settings. Often hacked clients use "." or "-" as a replacement for "/". The hacked client will also block these messages from appearing in server chat to help the hackers appear legit and not have it extremely obvious that they are hacking, therefore if quiff was using a hacked client that has this command system (probably over 95% of them do) if he tried to type "." or "-" in chat it would be blocked by the hacked client as the client would probably assume the user accidentally pressed enter before typing the command. So despite the feature of having the commands not appear in chat normally being useful, it can also in situations like quiff's be harmful.

Pete ! I have a solution for the emerald problem, they should unlock trades for emeralds but decrease the price on regular emeralds in the shop. However since emeralds are the rarest ore in the game they should make emerald ORE sellable for a cost price (you get the ore by silk touching the ore). I hope you read this Pete so you can make this happen
