FFAF are still one of my all-time favourite bands. I must have listened to this song over 1000 times. While I know many people prefer their older material (this album and the one before it), I truly love almost every single song they ever released. If you enjoyed this, but want something a little heavier I strongly recommend listening to their songs Serpents in Solitude or Broken Foundations. Two other incredible British Post-Harcore bands from the era are Fightstar (I recommend the song Deathcar) and InMe (I recommend the song Myths & Photographs)

this was uncomfortable, smiling the whole time while the kid is going to kill himself and the mom is grieving. he obviously went through with it, the clothes he was wearing in the video are in his room and his mom is getting rid of them

Well that is exactly what this is about, How people go through these things in different ways. And it hit us tenfold as we watched, not knowing exactly what was going on, because interpretation is different for everyone. At 8:18, I explain that the vocalist, Matt Davies, stated that "this was a heavy song, but not in the way metal is typically considered to be "heavy" . This is about the death of close friends." Davies said "I saw my friends and family all grieving but I didn't know how to react. I felt odd because I wasn't crying, I sat there and took it all in. I wanted to pay tribute to the memory of those people, who I missed so much, and to express that." Not everyone's coping mechanisms look the same or are plastered across their expressions. It was heavy material that definitely left us questioning and thinking about our own morality.

Check out their album Welcome Home Armageddon. Tracks in particular, Broken Foundation, Spinning over the island and front row seats to the end of the world. You both won’t be disappointed, I’d go as far to say this was their best album. Have fun listening guys! 😎🤘🏻

Thank you for reaction! I relate to this song and music video a lot, in school years would go around where I lived all by myself, and having really bad thoughts. After school, it all got only worse. But Rock and Metal really saved my life. I was always an outcast, but music like that always helps me stay alive. I reccomend you to listen Wage War - Youngblood (This song saved my life), and The Amity Affliction - All fucked up.
