Hey, I'm wondering just how bad the weather is in June? I know you mentioned it briefly in the video, but I am getting mixed information from people. I know it rains, but is it all day or just brief showers? And is there any sun shine at all? Chat GTP says there is around 5 hours of sun per day in june. Thanks!

Hi there, yeah to tell you the truth, June is not the best time to visit. The best time to visit Maceió is from September to March. In June you do get a lot of rain, but honestly it depends one year it might rain a lot and another year it may not. Overall it’s not as sunny as the other months. All the best 👍

Hi, what is the weather like in August please?
@global_citizens8 ай бұрын
Hi Annie, thanks for watching our video and for your comment. The weather in August is actully very good. Ideal time to visit Maceió is from August until February since the rainy season will be over and August and September are not as hot as the other months. Feel free to reach out if you need any other info. All the best

Ohh it’s really a pleasure. Honestly if you have time to watch the other videos we did about Maceió, we mention all the good neighbourhoods and we also did a video about food and restaurants which is very interesting and gives you lots of ideas. There is a Peruvian restaurant called Wanchako and a couple of Italian restaurants that we really liked but we didn’t include in our video because it would be very long. The Italian ones are Maria Antonieta and Piccola Vila that is a family owned Italian restaurant with absolutely fantastic options. The chef used to live in Italy. For activities and excursions, as you walk along the beach there are a lot of people selling them for the next day. Let us know if you need any other info. 👍

MACEIO - Back in 2002 I drove from B Camboriu all the way north and passed by MACEIO As I arrived to the beach I was very shocked how clear and clean the water was, it was like the BAHAMAS ! ONE of the best beaches in Brasil Back then there was not much going on in Maceio, I don't know how it is today

Yes the beaches and the color of the water in Maceió are just mind blowing and absolutely stunning 😊 Thanks for watching our video 👍

@@global_citizens You guys still living there ? What part of the area did you live in ? Rented an apto month to month ? Is there anything to do other than the beach : nightlife etc, shopping malls ? Next time we return to Recife, will run down to Maceio. I passed through Aracaju 15 years ago but did not explore it, another place to check out Personally I like Joao Pessoa, has a lot going on, plus I lived there before

@@InMyBrz hi there 😊 no we lived there for a while, and we did a few videos there and in Alagoas. Please if you have time watch them because some of the videos are very nice and will give you a very good idea about restaurants (we have a video for food in Maceió) and also nearby resorts that you can visit (we have a couple of videos from São Miguel dos Milagres which is until today one of the most beautiful places we have visited in Brazil). We completed our trips in North East, then continued with north and then centre, and currently we are uploading our latest videos in Southeast in the state of São Paulo. Thanks for watching our videos; we hope you enjoy our content 😊

@@global_citizens WE will definately spend more time in Maceio next time we go to the NE. Has been over 10 years since we were there. Outside of the beach area it was a little sketchy, didn't look very safe. Never explored the area and didn't know about the Centro area, do remember looking at google maps and seeing a lot of por kilo restaurants and places to stay near the beach Yday I found a nice looking house in a closed condo for r$125,000 on OLX ! The next property I buy will be a house because it's a lot more private and has space for a dune buggy and maybe a sailboat or a Jetski. I do remember Praia do Frances, where all the houses were surrounded by high walls, an upper class area (expensive) Only other city I'd consider is Joao Pessoa, where I lived in 2006 and just came back from there
