Ancient vs Futuristic was absolutely great. I was drunk AF while watching so I thought the ancient team trip was hilarious (Josh can’t see, Harry’s backflip, Ethan sneezing on the vineyards, JJ dancing with the live music) while the futuristic team trip (Simon controlling the robot, the lab rooms, the go karting, chilling with Doges, the second robot cafe w/Tom Cruise) looked sick. I guess where I agree with Simon is I wish the Japan team would’ve went to more places barring no time constraints: Mount Fuji, Bamboo Grove, Akihabara Anime street, Snow Monkey Park, Studio Ghibli museum, Mega Pokémon Center, etc. Even watching Simon and Kon’s extended Vlogs left more to be desired because Japan as a whole is sick AF lmfaooo

Yo Simon, not sure if yall thought/heard of these ideas already but I thought up a couple I think would be cool from a viewers perspective: Cheap/Expensive Fishing, Cheap/Expensive Cruise, Sidemen Who Can Visit the Most Landmarks (EU or elsewhere), Sidemen Learn/Compete in a Weird/New Sport, Sidemen Wii Sports (just do a bunch of funny games, could also to Wii Resort games for a V2), Sidemen Train with a Pro Athlete for a Week/Day, Sidemen Get a Normal Job (become lifeguards, waiters, bartenders, etc.), and my personal favorite Sidemen Assassins (basically, each person has a secret target and a water/nerf gun use an area (could be London, an amusement park, or whatever), and basically once they “take out” their target, they get the target that person had, and it keeps going until there’s one person left. Only rule is that you can’t kill someone in front of two or more people. Would be hella funny with Beta Squad, the troops, etc.)

On the Wade stuff, most of what u say is sensible but calling Wade a snake randomly without talking to him privately first is not immune to criticism just because ‘it’s an opinion’, it’s completely unfounded, jeopardises his career and is contradictory to everything he’s done so far, attacking one of the most genuine people in a boxing scene with so many sharks publicly is not defensible regardless of whether u personally like him or not

Yeah that and the feel of the other holidays where from the filming of it it feels almost like a movie/trip that you are going along on with them but this vid doesn’t rly feel the same, they were already at the location/knew where they were going, didn’t really even see they’re trip just cuts between locations and it just felt short

I’m surprised to hear Simon’s comments about Tokyo… I actually thought it was very cool and fascinating. I remember a commentator Orin the vid mentioning that what the others did in Pompeii … could have easily been done in another country. However, Tokyo was truly an “experience” - something we’ll probably never be aBOE know unless we actually visit there. Imagine being sidemen and being “bored” in another foreign country … let’s be fair, the other team were drunk most of the time… but all members in Tokyo didn’t even drink and it looked great. Easily I would rate the Tokyo trip a 10 because I’m inspired and would love to go there and truly experience it. Pompeii… I’d give it a 7… I also find it hilarious that Tobi got a McGriddle for breakfast in Japan and they had Michelin star noodles… and Tom Cruise was so cute and funny lol

True that 💯. I think it's because a lot of the video ideas become a gimmick once they get overdone. So they are dope the first time or first couple of times but afterwards they end up feeling just repetitive and forced. And it makes sense for them to do them coz they'll get views so as the sidemen they still gotta dance between doing what they enjoy but also doing stuff that'll work numbers wise for KZbin. I feel like that's why they end up struggling to find the balance between just the regular videos they enjoyed doing but simultaneously tryna keep each video bigger and bigger 😂, ends up being like a hamster wheel. The dope thing tho is I think as they all get older and their lives continue to change they are probably gonna slow down a bit which I think will actually bring better content coz then they'll get to do more videos they enjoy and like Simon was saying actually spending time in the places they travel and stuff whilst maybe not having to force a weekly release. Win win for everyone 🙏🏿 (although I know some of the younger fans won't want to hear that 😂 coz they stay losing their minds anytime the sidemen even try deviate back to a relaxed laid back video style that's maybe not as extravagant)

Simon said “jj can call him a snake and that still an opinion” I don’t think it is tbh calling him wade a snake means that wade did something shady, which he did not and in his response video shows proof and disproves what jj has said about him. Wade provided facts proving that he was not a snake sure jj can say was is a snake but at this point it would make no sense and it seems like Randy and Simon did not watch the full response video of wade. They don’t mention anything about how wade proved them wrong they just say “jj knows he messed up” but then say “yea sometimes we don’t know what happens bts and we can’t see the build up” which I’m confused why they even talked about the situation

Sidemen are relying too much on the location in the recent episodes to carry the place, more strategy/development should of been carried out. A perfect idea for ancient vs tech would of been trying to complete similar tasks but using tools of the time to see the differences or what have you. It felt thrown together just because the locations were more extravagant, Tokyo anyway.
