I’m soooo glad yall talked about this. I for sure agree what you said at the beginning of this Vlog Georgia - in the church we do not talk about s3x enough!! Me and my husband felt allll of these same things you guys discussed when we got married in 2020. We saved each other for marriage & we felt so nervous & it was hard at first to figure it out. Our friend told us before hand, “the first time you do it will be the worst, so don’t have any expectations. It only gets better.” That really helped us haha! You guys are such a beautiful couple. God has given us a degree of control over when we want to begin a family and how many children we would like to have and that’s a good thing! We have medical interventions/tools that we’ve been blessed with and when couples choose to not use these they’re essentially trying for a child. I know some Christian couples who choose not to use any birth control methods and say that they’ll have as many children as God desires but that is not the Lords desire for us, having children is not compulsory and he wants us to move towards what we desire. ☺️ You guys are newly weds and I hope you find contentment in this season. Sometimes we are unconsciously always trying to compete with someone or our friends but will never find contentment if we move through life this way because someone will always be an engagement ahead a marriage ahead a child ahead or an opportunity ahead of you. You know what they say “be yourself because everybody else is already taken”. We have to ask ourselves who has God called ME to be? How does he want to use MY uniqueness to impact the lives of others?
