I totally agree with you, Tim!! Howl-O-Scream definitely offered a much more haunting and thrilling experience! I even got jumpscared just watching the video lol the houses and scare zones all looked so fun and exhilarating!!! HHN I think is more for fan-immersion into the films since most people have seen / recognize each movie / TV / game franchise that the houses are based off on, and while they're scary, I think Howl-O-Scream has more energy as well as creativity behind making their houses. The actors here seem to really enjoy working!! Thank you for making these videos every year!!! I really appreciate!!!! and congratulations to you and jen on your baby!!!

Great video Tim. Sad I didn't get to see you that day. I am the Magician in the Maniac Midway again this year. If you go back, head to the booth in front of the Pantopia Theater. I have some new tricks and stunts this year. Also to answer your question, it has always been my interpretation that since Motel Hell's character is the Sandman, you are entering nightmares. That's the reason for the giant sawblades, the chainsaws, and the dentist as those are some people's nightmares.

We go to Howl O Scream every year & it never disappoints!!!! Totally agree w/ what you said about it being more raw and deff more scares. Although HHN has a bigger production value, I always felt like I loved Howl O Scream’s sets better - each set was so intricately designed to really tie to the story of each house. It’s crazy how calm Tim is when he goes through haunted houses! I can’t do jump scares (thank my cousin who showed me that old KZbin video with the flying car like 12 years ago lol) one time I played call of duty zombies and I had a panic attack from when I turned the camera and a zombie popped out and screamed at me I hated it haha
