Tom is so incredibly patient with those little ones. I love your parenting skills. Its a great lesson for everyone that kids don’t need the most expensive toys, furniture, or clothing…what they love more then anything is spending time with their mama and papa🥰🥰🥰🥰

I just love this little cabin. You guys are so resilient. You will go somewhere warm. Marlin will need it for her nerve damage. I had to move to somewhere warmer because if the nerve damage. I still get bad when it cools off, not as bad as the rainy northwest of the US.

She is Swedish but lives on Svalbard in Norway in a beautiful cabin her and her partner Christoffer have refurbished. Her videos are so lovely and their cabin is so cosy. My first sofa makes yours look really good… We paid even less… cleared out someone’s flat and got to take all the furniture we wanted for free! Don’t forget to mark the kids heights on the wall somewhere to see how much they grow…. Can’t believe my son used to be so short!

Hi guys. I didn’t think the sofa was that ugly especially for the price. You could always throw a nice throw blanket on it. It does look very comfy. You guys picked a gorgeous place to make your home. Oh to be out in the middle of nowhere and to sit and watch wildlife from your windows is such a calming, peaceful view. You both are amazing parents. So patient in including Charlie and Bella to help regardless of it slowing the process down. Their Room will mean so much more to them and they are learning so much. You’re such a close net little family and I love each of you bunches. Thank you for bringing us along. Oh, that Love Seat was in perfect shape wasn’t it? And for $7.00. I didn’t think it was ugly, a soft shade of yellow walls in living area will make it pop. I can’t wait to see the finished painting in their bdrm. Haha that’s normally a problem when you get something just “temporary”, we had a few bits like that in our old house and we never ended up replacing it! But we thought if we buy the ugliest one we could find, we probably will end up replacing it in the end 😂 Thank you that’s so lovely to hear! 🥰

I actually like that sofa, it is unusual. I love the style and colour. I have sometimes bought sofas I have not liked the look of and layered them up with throws and cushions, very difficult to tell what is underneath. I think comfort is important. I do not love the table but I don't think it is terrible, I have sometimes bought furniture like that, sanded it down and painted it.

Your van is called sunny, so the sofa is very appropriate, but you can always use covers if you wish. So cheap, though. Just wondered if Tom speaks Swedish and if you always speak English together.

Very true! Yes I (Tom) speak Swedish 😁 Malin and I almost always speak English to each other, but we try to speak about half and half to the kids

Thank you for clarifying. Children are like sponges in picking up languages. You are doing it the best way, they will be fluent in both, which is fantastic as both sets of families can communicate with the children and vice versa. In my case it was Welsh and English. Not sure how you have picked up Swedish, I am finding it hard, but Danish more difficult. Absolutely love your videos, two lovely people. Hope you manage to get some curtains up as it’s sure going to get cold there soon.

Nothing a throw can’t fix, the sofa is perfect for now until you pick out furniture you like. Is the cabin a traditional type of Swedish house or is it usually a holiday home? It’s in nice surroundings plus it’s not too isolated from other people. Charlie and Bella are both adorable ☺️ you guys are such confident snow drivers and it’s amazing how the vehicles get easily through the snow, in England we come to a standstill as soon as snow hits x

They’re normally used more like summer houses/holiday homes, but ours is well insulated and prepared for the winter which is nice! 😁
