Hi Guys, I had a wood burner with a glass door at home in Ireland years ago. (I have lived in Australia for years) The people who installed the fire showed me a great trick to clean the glass. Get wet newspaper, scrunched up, dip it into the ashes of the fire and rub that on the glass, the black comes off and buffs up brilliantly. Our next door neighbour here got a wood heater two years ago and some months ago he mentioned to me about how hard it is to clean the glass and it never looks nice. I told him about this trick and he now loves his heater! I just love your videos and my husband and I watch every episode. Thank you also for putting up the subtitles, it helps greatly. So I watch another Middle Eastern family, from Iran. They are Nomads, but have bought a piece of land and are creating a homestead there. It’s interesting, because they are all Nomad and live the rural lifestyle. While you guys are city folks, and camp with all the comforts of home. It’s an interesting comparison, but I really enjoy both channels. Thank you.

Hi Burcu! The black film on the inside of your stove is mainly from the type of wood that you burn. Pine has a lot of tar in it and when its burned, the residue sticks to the inside of your stove and on the glass

You probably know this but if you dip your damp cloth in the Ash and use it on the glass it cleanes brilliantly. I've never found a better way to get stove glass like new. 😊

What I like about their videos is that when something gors wrong, they show it and they deal with it. And I felt sorry for Burcu because the inflatable bed was problematic and I don't think she slept well. But the burgers the night before looked so good and the campsite area was beautiful. Lots of equipment, and packing and unpacking and cooking but they do enjoy each other's company and that's all that matters.
