Hi Guys Bhagwan & Bita .. You are such an amazing couple & our blessings to you both for a long happy married life. I can feel my connections with you both. How ? Let me explain .. First Bhagwaan I am a Pucca Mumbaikar born & brought-up in Mumbai. So naturally I am proud of my state Maharashtra. Now Bita : I am a Zoroastrian or Zarthushthi the religion which was founded almost 25 centuries ago in Iran . India gave us refuge 14 centuries ago when the Arabs conquered Iran & we escaped to India to save our religion. Today I am a proud Indian & apart from my Religion, I also follow Hinduism. We are called Parsis as we hailed from the Pars region of Iran. The Parsis have mingled peacefully with rest of my Indian society & have contributed towards Indian Society. Since we had landed in Gujarat, our culture & traditions are Gujarati & so is our Mother tongue. Today we have no links with Iran except our Religion as we have completely mingled with Indian society. Only when I was in Middle East people would call my name as ' Parviz' but in India I am Pervez. But how lucky we were to land in my beloved India: So Bita you too are connected to another Great Country India : For me : Gujarat gave me my Culture Maharashtra gave me me my regional identity Karnataka gave me my Bread, Butter & Jam since I'm in Bengaluru. And the remaining 28 states gave me my friends. So wish you both a great life when in India .
