I have been on the verge of tears through this entire episode! I am currently sitting with my 8 month old daughter as I’m watching this. My fiancé and I didn’t struggle to get pregnant but we had an unexpected miscarriage at almost 10w before we had a successful pregnancy. I am very familiar with struggling to celebrate the landmark moments of pregnancy and waiting constantly for the other shoe to drop. Sending prayers and good vibes for the rest of your pregnancy and delivery! You and Leif are going to be such amazing, loving parents and are so deserving of this baby! I am a nail technician and when I got pregnant it was right in the spring/summer so I was Soo busy at work and also had bad nausea. Working 10-5 and being distracted with work honestly really helped me to keep my mind off of how sick I felt!

Oh my goodness!!! I'm am so incredibly over the moon for you Jaci and Leif! I'm 23 weeks now from IVF and in total I did 42 pregnancy tests even after 3 ultrasounds and hearing the heartbeat. I don’t watch you that often but I remember watching a video a year or two ago where you vulnerably shared how you were sad and struggling to get pregnant. I was preg with my 1st and my heart just ached for you. I’m now 22 weeks with my second and I am so happy to be pregnant with you this time around, huge congrats. When I get to heaven (hopefully haha) I will 100% be sitting with the good Lord on a sofa and asking him why people who don’t want their babies and don’t care get pregnant, and why people like you and Leif struggle. It seems so unfair. Thank u also for validating 9-5 girlies (in my case 8-6!). I worked a nanny job for three boys (including toddler twins) with ten hour days when I was pregnant with my first and honestly I barely remember my first trimester. So, so hard. I’ve had a way easier pregnancy this time round because I just have my toddler daughter to take care of and she is so chill in comparison 😂 I’m honestly relieved for you that you got to rest because I know how rough it can be.
