Finally, after years of waiting, we are finally getting to California. Watch our journey as we travel and go through the land of chicken nuggets, as my son said. 😂

I laughed.. 😂 next time, you cook fish outside hehe they don't like the smell specially dried fish. Some eat fish but there's a certain kind of fish that they like. I was like that when I first got here in the US. Hope we can meet someday here in Vegas when you come visit. I'm a bicolana, got here in the US through K1 visa and living here in Las Vegas for almost 2 years. Welcome to the US!!!

We livw near Seattle Washington. Been married 40+ years. My asawa is always COLD ! ! ! except when the temperature rises above 72 degrees F and she is hot. The temperature swing in the US can be 40 degrees in one day - in PI 5-10 degrees . . . .

You're so adorable! Having a culture shock in Seafood City itself. American Seafood City can be different from the PI. The Sea Food is "fresh," in Western Terms, when kept under ice, and yes, the sardines are canned, and so much more. LOL! Love your channel Chrissy!

I was smiling, as well as laughing, while watching the video that you have let us seen. Yes, price differences in California are totally different, even in the other states of the United States. But that’s why the Philippines have a dirty kitchen outside, to cook stuff that may smell inside the home, as well as the mess that he can make while cooking it. I would like to wish you Chrissy, Tim and Dale a very merry Christmas, as well as a prosperous and happy new year. I also have been watching for a while, but not posting on your videos as well as Tim’s. May GOD bless you Chrissy, Tim and Dale, and the rest of your family in the Philippines, as well as in the United States.

Welcome to USA! About cooking fish indoors, I recommend to simmer either lemon peels in water on your stove for 20 minutes or so to neutralize the surrounding air; or better yet, try simmering water with cinnamon sticks, cloves and vanilla ❤️👍

When you fry dried fish, cook outside the house. Americans don't like the smell of dried fish. Unless it's your own home, no problem. Some Pinay make sure the oil is hot, put the daing and cover quickly. To turn, quickly turn then cover again. When it has cooled down, get the fishes over paper towel on a plate to drain the oil. Open the exhaust before cooking.

Hello Chrissy, Welcome to USA. I just watched your vlog while u were shopping at "Seafood City," it's one of the big filipino/Asian stores that is very well-known among us pinays. Anyway, I thought I let u know that they will clean & fry the fish u buy from that store & most Asian market will do clean& fry your fish, free of charge:), here in Washington anyways, no need to clean & fry fish! why not? right,? but I did live California for about 9yrs many years ago. Have fun in Cali!
