Our journey on Country Living as an SDA couple!

We were called to the country over 15 years ago by the book "Country Living", we trusted God at His word and made a list of His recommendations for a country property and added some of our own preferences, just simple things. God gave us a property that fulfilled all of those and we were blessed to have raised our children here in the country. Now we too want to share with others the experience of off-grid living in the country and growing closer to Christ, which is why we chose to do a KZbin channel to try to help others along the way. This video and your testimony was a rich blessing. I’m on my own country living journey about to cross the Jordan into our own land! There are still some things to work out but God is surely leading and guiding. It’s through testimonies like yours that myself and many others are encouraged to continue to look to and hope in God. I have a complete opposite testimony God brought us to city living but feels like small town from a much hectic aggressive city. We are so happy 🏝️ 🍹God is good two groceries less than a block away. Plenty of lush greenery around such fresh air where we live. 13 min from the beach too. God made it also for us provided the funds even…everything we fully trusted him 100%.

God bless you really, this video is a blessing. I've learned not to take any move out of fear or desperation but rather walk by faith.... the Lord's plan for our lives is good and he plans to give us a hopeful future.

Thank you for sharing this. Yes, moving in fear is so dangerous! I've always made the worse decisions and had so much regret when I've made a decision based on fear. It's just not worth it, just trust God and LET Him lead!

Thank you for sharing your testimony. I have been really struggling on not control the life God give me, and I know he want me to move to the country but like you…I don’t have no saving or money to buy a country home so I been asking him to give me more faith and mostly everything you guys say like checking out house when you have no money or job and not being desperate and obey what God say open my eye. I know those are things he wants me to do yet I have not try or even done it. Seeing how you guys have so much faith even when the odds of the world say no and you like nope God say yes and that all that matter is amazing and even omitting when you guys had fear and how we can’t live in fear is so true because I have done thing out of fear and not ask him before and I truly do not want to live my life in fear. I am also Africa and only 23 and have not been marry and just become SDA last year but it will be a year this October and this is very encouraging because I really want to go back in the country, I truly never liked the city and was bought up first in same country side and wish for that again and just want to obey God in everything he want me to do and not fight him for control and just listen to him. Thank you brother and sister so much.

Watching from Botswana, Africa. We are also a young SDA family moving to the country and with the challenges we've been facing I was starting to give up and just put up with anything. They love each other the husband hardly gets to talk because she interrupts him all the time. Communication is a two way street. Maybe write an out line of what you each are going to talk about. Not to be scripted but the share the spot lite.
