There's people that live a long life that never understand what love is, never experience it, and leave this world broken with an unfulfilled unspoken life quest. Rarely do many people experience the love and kindness that she did. And that is a fulfillment, inspite of all the physical pain she endured, that a majority of people spend a long tortured life never finding, never knowing. Take heart in knowing this. Every moment of kindness you shared or bestowed on her. Every moment of tenderness and love. Even moment of warmth and concern. Was more then most people find in a lifetime. Sometimes knowing this is the only comfort and understanding that you will come to understand as you grow older and experience even more of lifes tribulations. There is no greater loss in life than to leave this world without knowing the kind of love and concen that she experienced up to her last moments. And when the day comes when each of us leaves this life, it truly is the only posession we take with us. Inspite of the heart ache, she left this world a with the only wealth that matters to us as humans. Take heart in knowing that you bestowed upon her more love than most people ever experience in a lifetime. And know that while this may not make sense now. It will make sense as you grow older and when the time comes when you, as all of us, face our own mortality. There is no greater experience and fulfillment in life than to be a beam of light to the one you love, and that loves you. It will stay with you forever and it will always be part of you. And in that, she lives on. God bless. You are an amazing young man.

My mom & only parent recently passed away from cancer. She had been delirious for the last 3 months she was alive. The week before delirium set in, she kept asking us where her mom was. Her mom had passed just prior to her diagnosis. She kept telling us that her mom came to visit her one night and said she would be back “for her”. For almost 2 months, my mom asked on a daily basis when her mom was coming to anyone who walked in the door. One morning she woke up with this glow about her telling us that her mom came to visit & said she would be back for her on Friday. That Friday my mom took her last breath. As someone who wasn’t a big believer in faith, this certainly helped changed my belief system & others who have lost loved ones found comfort in this story.

What an absolute goddess. Few women alive can remain that beautiful through end stage cancer. She was clearly a shining light. I'm so, so, so sorry for your loss.

You can uplift him and his late wife without putting down other women who struggle with cancer. Very unnecessary. These people are not the only ones in the world who struggle with this.

A great job you did with her story. The happiness in your life together shines through it all. My cousin also passed in Ontario. Her brother an MD living in Las Vegas with his own chain of cardiology clinics arrived to direct her final treatments. The family did not share the news otherwise, even though we have so many doctors and nurses in the family, cancer was not ever a personal issue. Nobody got it, nobody. I only heard about it after, it was a nightmare of surgery and pain. Somehow with her healthy lifestyle...She was a disciplined musician with the TSO, she had been exposed to asbestos. At the end there were almost no lungs left. Thankfully my cousin had her put on that morphine pump under her control and she made good her escape. She was a vibrant pretty girl like your lovely Jasmine. I hope you can recover from this loss and move on in life as the strong guy you are. You both deserve that. PS You both made right choices that your sharing will help others.Of course marijuana is highly carcinogenic, perhaps prescription Sativex or another might give others relief. The Arizona clinic also seemed a good try 👍 There are legitimate treatments elsewhere, it can be overwhelming to sort them all out with time running out.

I am so sorry for your loss. More and more young people seem to be diagnosed with cancer. The way you both coped and how both families helped is admirable. I hope Jas is at peace now.
