Hello I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I own a tour company here called Alaska English Adventures. During Covid I started a pen pal program between kids in Alaska and youth at the Sheba Education Center in Nairobi. This year 25 students at Sheba Edu wrote notes of encouragement to dog mushers in the world famous Iditarod sled dog race here in Alaska. We are now working on bringing these students and staff to Alaska for the 2025 Iditarod race in Feb/ March. They even built the first Iditarod dog sled in Kenya history at their school this year! I would love to talk to you about this amazing and inspiring adventure

It's a high cost of living state. Higher than US average and if in seattle and it surbubs, quality 1bdrm costs north of $2000. If you are looking to buy a house, 3 bd costs almost an average of $800k - 1 million.
