No, the Arabs from the Hejaz, (the country now called "Saudi Arabia") worshipped idols before the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. They were not Christians. And by the way, Muslims do not need any redemption from you or from Christians, as the Holy Quran was sent to renew and restore God's Revelations to Moses and Jesus (the Holy Torah and Gospel), as they had been corrupted by unfaithful followers of these prophets. Bellydancing is a sensual and beautiful cultural dance. From my own experiences in the culture, this video is actually far less sensual than most. These women are dressed far more modestly than most bellydancers. It is an old art form, and I think its a shame you sexualize it and criticize it on the basis of purity. Just enjoy the dance and music.
