I don’t want to sound like a no it all. Did the guys at zone show you how to set up awning correctly. There are a number of examples on you tube if you search for it. The way you had yours set up was incorrect to hard to explain. Other wise nice van enjoy your travels.

Do you find the Land Rover is plenty enough powerful? Or can you recommend a good towing car to look into? I’m pretty clueless sorry 😂

We have a 100 series landcruiser which is pretty good as far as older cars go. Depends if you want a wagon or a Ute? And how heavy your van is 😅
