As a ganja farmer from the san gabriel valley I can say it takes up to 4-8 months to harvest from seed to harvest but it also depends on the type of strain and seeds you are using as well.The difference in seed types is pretty standard.Regular seeds will produce males and female plants which you would have to separate when they show their sex to avoid having seeded cannabis flowers.Femenized seeds are guaranteed female plants which means there's no need to chop down the male plants and they will produce sensi buds.Also both feminized and regular seeds can take up to 4 months to as long as 10 months till harvest indoors or outdoors outdoors but if you are growing indoors you can shorten the length of time to about a few months but for outdoors the length of time for the cannabis grow season is usually 6-11 months.With auto flower seeds will automatically flower out after a month of planting but the verity won't produce as much as regular or feminized seeds but it's still fun to grow when you are out of season and want a quick harvest.Also auto flower seeds take up to 4-5 months to harvest but it also depends if its a sativa or indica strain..Indica verities have a shorter lifespan than sativa's and will take up to 7-8 weeks to finish flowering but the sativa's take from 10 weeks to as long as 18 weeks to finish flowering out.I hope that helps you out and gives you an idea of what to expect when it comes to how long it will take for the plant to grow from seed to harvest and the types of seeds that are available.Best of luck to you and your grow and if you need anymore help or tips on how to grow cannabis or what's the best organic non gmo fertilizers to use on your plants please don't hesitate to ask.Also i have been breeding and growing my own non gmo heirloom seeds for years now and If would would like to try some of my seeds out id be happy to donate some no problem.Much respect big up bless up one love from the city of covina california usa 🇺🇲✌️💚💛♥️😤💨💨🔥🔥🌴🌴

it depends on the strain,,a haze strain takes 9 to 11 months,, ty stick is 8 to 10..there are natural gunja called rudrails that grow in between 2 and 3 months..so growers would cross breed the two to shorten size an time to harvest

@@BAK2N8TR well not particularly.. it the ground and air pollution.. so when I grow I apecifie in ground purification and natural trace minerals up take..so indoor grow has it positives. Because really none of our plant life is up to it's highest quality.

Indica (shorter one) is quicker, sativa (taller one typical of Jamaica in the past) takes longer. Perfect sun grown is better (full light spectrum and harmony with nature) but harder (so many potential pests and a bad season can ruin your crop). Indoor can be three months because the light is intense and constant (when on) and complete control if there is an environmental/pest problem.

Some have selectively bred for certain cultural or religious aspects etc. You can buy some of these seeds, you just have to look for heritage etc. And not all crossed stuff is bad - humans have been doing it for thousands of years!
