I have visited and tried many a pub and their brews all over North America. A lot of small breweries "over here" have "re-discovered" real hops rather than using extracts and they are now being grown once again in places where they were last seen 100 years ago. Good colour to it and probably a hint of toasted malt in the taste. Damnable covid brought about the demise of my favourite local brew-pub! A lot of good British ales are available here (in Canada) so it is only just that we can smuggle a few of ours back your way . Good Health.

Nice to see you both again. Calcutt boats have fitted Hurricane diesel heaters to their hire fleet. Very reliable. We had no end of expenses with our Eberspacher heater they simply don't like low 12v amperages and the electronics pack up. Running the engine before starting them up seemed to work. Happy Christmas to you both. Keep safe warm dry and virus free.

i don't know about what is used over in the U.K. but in the U.S. if we go to driving ranges (for golf) we buy a bucket of balls (to hit) and they come in a metal container that resembles the stove doo-hickey (a technical name lol) you now have in your stove. you could turn it upside down and saw off the bottom part (that keeps the balls in) and you could use that in the future if the current one gives up the ghost to keep the coals in place. if you have a golf equipment store around you it might be worth pricing them. other than that, i wish you both a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy & HEALTHY New Year!!
