Excited for Reno content! I’m currently fully renovating a 150+ year old English stone cottage (whist 7 months pregnant) 😂 Totally get what you mean about delays. Although we’re doing most ourselves, good being delayed causes so many problems and delays to move in dates. Thanks for the update 🤗

This is so encouraging! My husband and I had a year of trying to make things work and God kept closing doors. Whew, your going have to be patient with me... I am a new subscriber and I am playing "catch up". I fell in love with your new "farm" and then all the sudden I read "were moving back to Califnoria". I went " OH NO"...and thinking wow what a beautiful farm and what a place to bring up children....and even the kitty loves you already and you love her and the horses love your baby organic carrots. Then you found that gorgeous home with all the land and I just said WOW what a blessing for the John's family, furture kids and the dogs. Big projects too Marcus along with baby arriving. Any I am thrilled your going to have family join you...more blessings. Best wishes on your adventure of all the renovention your going to do. God Bless you and your son!

This sounds beyond frustrating, but it is an opportunity to be thankful of the Lord’s mercies. He saved you guys a from terrible financial situation. My sister was also pregnant going through a very difficult circumstance (not financial) and was in major distress and things for both her and you being pregnant could’ve been way worse. The Lord has great mercy. Thank God y’all had a roof over your heads, food to eat, family, etc.

Your story is so surreal even though I went through a similar situation with my family 🤣 it’s just as hectic! And it took me personally 2 and a half years before I finally felt happy and adapted to moving (moved to TX from CA) to finally be around my fathers side of the family. I’m sooooo happy for you guys and coincidentally enough I had wished my parents would’ve chose TN! That’s so crazy but I’m so glad you guys got a beautiful story and so much out of it. Airbnb has deals when you stay for longer so it’s more like a rental. Which I assume they knew they’d have to do before purchasing. Prices are definitely wayyyy different from LA to Tennessee. They did also say that their family, not them, now owns the Airbnb they’re staying in (bought it while they were renting it).

It brings me back to the accident or the video of you, Kristin, wondering if TN was the right place and how you were so lonely. It made me choke up because the fruits from the accident or all those low moments you shared with us are really coming to harvest now. I feel for you guys and the series of tests God has presented for you. My husband and I bought our first home together 3 years ago (sounds crazy saying that number, WOW). This is our dream home, but SUCH a fixer-upper... That we've been living in the whole time we've been working on it. My husband and I both have very modest incomes, and his was strongly affected by COVID last year. So our tests have had a lot to do with finances and my husband stretching his abilities to do as much work on our home on his OWN as possible these past 3 years. We've both worked so hard to continue striving for our dream home, and during this journey God blessed us with our baby boy when we felt ready to grow our family in this home. Our boy is nearly 4 months old, we're still finding a balance between income and renovations every day, but we feel so blessed we get to live in this house as we mould it into our forever home we get to raise our son in. I'm continually praying that God will guide us as we live humbly and provide for us as we need. Just as I know he's guiding each of your steps along your housing journey. God is good. 🙏
