I work for the US Army Corps of Engineers for nearly 30 years and I’ve yet to play this course! I don’t work at West Point if I did I would’ve played here many times ! I was up there for work about 15 years ago and I went to their range to hit a bucket. Need to get up there next year with my older son The Engineering firm who designed the clubhouse is under contract with us and my co-worker is the TM on the project. Hopefully it’ll be done by next spring/summer Great video and awesome to see this beautiful course !! Thanks

Try playing when they are blowing stuff on the artillery range!! Last time I played there I was home on leave from the Navy, I think it was in 85, and it was only open to service members and vets.

My first hole-in-one was at West Point. 9th hole, and like Frank said, about 200 yards. I was in my early teens, and was at a golf camp at West Point. I hit an orange topflite, with a Spaulding Executive 5 wood…..yes, actual wood 😂. The green is kinda blind from the tee, and i hit an absolute heatseeking tracer right at the flag, but thought it was long. After a quick search over the green, my cousin checked and found it in the hole!!

My daughter is a Cadet at the academy and also plays lacrosse at WP. There are a few of us lax dads who are good players and will be playing mornings of game days pretty regular throughout the spring there , and I/we would love to play a 4 ball match against you guys in the spring. (Then host you guys at the pre and post game tailgate on post).

Alternate shot is a fun game with both equal skill levels and opposite skill levels 1 It is one of the classic formats for matches. Have you guys seen INNES in Accord ? It is designed by the same team that designed Sweetens Cove in TN.
