As someone who lives very near to and has spent a lot of time in that fancy shmancy cathedral, I must first say that’s one of the best descriptions for Salisbury Cathedral and second of all, the toilets in the cathedral are by far the best public toilets in Salisbury, so MJ definitely had the right idea!

I'm just dropping this here. The last time I've watched your vlogs was probably around 2 years ago when MJ was still a small infant. Because I enlisted into my country's military, I've became very distant from a lot of things including this channel which has been a bundle of joy that I couldn't keep up. Now 2 years later, I've finished my service and still am very lost in life. Happy to see you starting from the channel where you've made tutorials to growing such a wholesome community and family. I'm elated and yet saddened by the fact that 2 years just flew by and I couldn't take care of myself well enough to progress. Merry Christmas Jazza, you're the few good things that helped me find a little more courage to explore and take another step. :)

This warms my heart so much. My parents are ill this year and it’s been so stressful and hard. My dad was in the ER about six weeks ago and barely avoided needing surgery. My mom has late stage cancer and we’re a few weeks away from her going to see her specialist several hundred miles away in Texas to see if her treatment is sufficient or if this is it. Celebrating Christmas in this weird Schrodinger’s Cat scenario was difficult; acting like it’s her last Christmas is borrowing trouble but it’s not something we could easily ignore the possibility of. Both my brother and I are around 30 and single, and we’re both chronically ill. Being able to see a young family that’s relatively healthy (not that particulars are anyone’s business) and enjoying each other’s company, making memories, is really good to see. It’s so hard for my family to get together, and even then we barely make it through half a movie or a meal before one of us starts to wilt and needs to go. It’s hard to WANT to be together, but for it to be so frustratingly hard to accomplish. If anyone deserves some idyllic family time and wonderful memories to look back on, it’s the Brooks family. It would be awesome if one day I can do the same, but for now, the vlogs are a balm that provide me with some hope for future Christmases.
