Wow guys, it has been a long time since I have seen you all in such a raw way and to be honest, I personally miss this and like it more than the "dressed up" version of flying the nest if you will as that is what originally made me fall in love with you guys and your channel to begin with. The genuineness of you both and your personalities shine through on these kind of vlogs and your children only in enhance that. We can see that your amazing personalities rub off on them both and seeing them grow with you just makes it all so much more special. Please don't ever change for anyone and I vote to see a routine of you guys doing the evening routine as it also will help loads of other parents and make me feel like maybe I will have kids one day? Love that you show the chaos and intensity of everyday kiddo life. Definitely major perks to being in Bali! I’m always amazed at how great you two are at planning- trip planning, planning out your day, planning what to bring etc. I wish I could have an ai version of you guys to plan my life 😂 both your kids have such sweet dispositions koa is definitely more of an internal processor while hunter is a born extrovert. I have been one of your followers since the beginning and I have to say it is brilliant to see these types of vlogs. Refreshingly realistic. The problem with edited vlogs is that they can convey an image of perfection, which is obviously not true to life. This vlog really captures what we don't usually get to see and shows even more how down to earth you both are! Mom of three here and YES routines are key, especially when traveling (and yes to naps in light and noise!). This brings me back to when mine were little! My kids were/still are pretty cheeky. I also chuckled at showing Hunter what happens if you don't brush your teeth - we had to do the same thing!

Thank you for sharing what's happening behind the scenes. Seeing just a normal family behind "Flying the Nest" was very enlightening and funny. I must say, as a mother it can be quite intimidating seeing only the vlogs when you travel with a baby and a toddler. Just the thought of traveling with two young kids makes me panic quite a bit. And you do that in the most remote places with long travel distances. I was Always wondering when Hunter gets her playtime between all the travels. It is really gorgeous to see Steve playing with Hunter! You are a really lovely and well organized Family!

Loved seeing this! We recently became a family of 4 too and have to get used to these new daily routines. Don't be too hard on yourself Jess for not breastfeeding, sometimes it's just really hard. I'm watching this while pumping milk to keep my production going. It takes up so much time feeding and pumping that I guess bottle feeding would feel more relaxed at the moment 😅 Also our son is often more satisfied after a bottle than a breast 😳 We'll see how far I'll make it this time...

How to cook scrambled eggs in microwave -> put some eggs, milk, honey, and salt (no oil) in a much bigger (than the amount of ingredients) microwave resistant bowl. Heat until the eggs start to bubble. Stir (add a bit more heat if needed). Pls try.

I recently discovered with my first baby that I'm unable to breastfeed for medical reasons and I found it devastating. I was so disappointed and felt I couldn't travel like I wanted to with baby because of all the extra work of bottle feeding. But I've been so inspired to see how you handle it and motivated to not let it stop us from traveling. Thank you so much for sharing

I found with using the Milton drops my kids got thrush on their tongues (though mine was milton in a large bottle and you put what ever the bottle told you to put in the container with water ) you can guess this was 44 odd years ago when I had my first child, maybe the formula is much improved today. I used to boil the bottles and teats on the stove top, I had glass feeding bottles. Things have changed so much since I had my babies. Your babies are so sweet and Hunter is a lovely big sister to Koa.

Hint, seeing as you have it, and travelling, Milton is very good for sanitising fresh fruit and vegetables. Also has added bonus of lengthening shelf life of them. I use it all the time. Doesn't taint or change the taste, and perfectly food safe.
