CATHERINE and Gabriella describe themselves as the ‘ultimate mother-daughter duo.’ Together the pair travel, shop, model and dress in matching outfits - all the time. Catherine has two other daughters - Lauren and Sophia who the pair refer to as ‘the sisters’. They think their mom and sister’s relationship is ‘weird’. Lauren said: “Everything they do together is a little extra.” Sophia added: “Everything they do is very cringe.” Catherine and Gabriella started creating videos on social media together. Gabriella said: “People love it but they also love to hate it.” Comments have ranged from positive to judgemental and have accused Catherine of having plastic surgery to look like her daughter and living life through her. Gabriella said: “If someone says online that our relationship is unhealthy like who are you? Why would we care?” While Lauren and Sophia said they agree with some of the comments about their mom and sister being over the top, they vehemently disagree with the idea that they’re neglected as daughters. Sophia said: “We definitely get a lot of attention.” Lauren added: “We don’t need any more attention, we’re good.”

She also wanted to quit competing in beauty pageants and the mother completely lost it. Needless to say, she's still living at home and still competing in beauty pageants.

this clarified for me that their mother is truly sick. she reminded me of things i’ve experienced in my home. i hope these daughters get the much deserved space and privacy that any growing adult would request at their age. it’s 100% normal for a growing adult to request space & distance. and the mother freaking out, is a blaring red flag that she’s obsessive with her daughter. those girls need to get out of that house FAST and NEVER look back. the daughters are not responsible for how the mother will react when they leave her. i know the feeling of bearing the responsibility of someone’s happiness and purpose, its a horrible weight. but the mom needs to find that in something that isn’t her daughters. the mother will never change. i think the daughters know she cannot be helped and that’s not their problem, it’s the moms problem. it will not be easy escaping from that mom, but it can be accomplished. overtime the girls will be able to see they are better off without someone watching like a hawk.

They were in the "Smothered" show the daughter didn't like that her mom always wanted to wear everything similar and when she wanted to date someone the mom had to be there too and get the protagonist the daughter hated it, she also wanted to quit modeling and her mom was frustrated. They will realize that when they are older living their own lives, while their golden child sister is trapped smothered for the rest of her mother's life. Yeah, like my poor sister. I went no contact. My sister won't ever be free from our mother's control. Not even now, married, with two little children. Almost 40 and mother keeps controlling her life. Mother sees her as her bestie and the relationship is suffocating for my sister, but she cannot set boundaries, not even now. While I was only abused by my mother, never loved, I feel like I have it kinda better, because I could free myself from the abuse. I am married to an amazing man. I have loving, emphatic in-laws. My MIL loves both her sons the same and let them live lives the way they want.

I’m super close with my mom, she’s my favorite person, but we still need our personal space and even though my mom likes trendy clothes, we do not walk around in the same outfits. This was so funny because me and my daughters are just like that, only a lot more toned down. When they were kids I used to dress them the same as well and I would try to match my outfit. When I see others like that on the street it's obvious they belong together. I would even dress a little friend similar. That way, when I was looking for one, I didn't have to think about what they were wearing to find them between other kids. Now my oldest daughter will often wear dresses while the other two never do. I might try to color match with one of my girls but as I'm twice their size, it's nothing like in this video.
