Downsizing is something I wish I did much earlier than I did. Started out in a small house and kept moving as income increased and kicking myself for thinking like that. We would have been just as happy in the smaller house and it would have been paid off by now. I'm glad you are moving in that direction! Simplifies your life, reduces stress, forces you to re-examine your belongings and what we cling to:) Moving sucks though.

FYI - Carl's Jr. started as a hot dog cart. Their store #1 is on Harbor at Broadway in Anaheim, but not the location you showed. Way back there was a restaurant owned by the Karchers (as in Carl Karcher) called The Sunshine Broiler where the Carl's Jr. you drove by is now. The large sign by the fwy was closer to their corporate headquarters, which was east of Harbor. I used to eat at The Sunshine Broiler when I worked in downtown Anaheim in the late 70's.

Have you tried Angelo's and Vinci's Ristorante in Fullerton? The food is SO good and the decor is beyond unique!!! If you go then you will spend the entire time looking at the decor because there is so much.

You'll have to make a return visit to the Cellar which was right in that courtyard. There's a Disney tie to it. The craftsmen from Pirates help to build the restaurant.

Glad to know your move is done. I've been a Gypsy moving so much. About average 1.5 times a year for all my 55 years. Lol yup moved a lot. This place I have been 8 years which is the most I ever and did not want to move her. Street is very busy here. But 2 bedroom small house for $1,000.00 a month. Can't beat it. If you want some good breakfast you should hit up the original pancake house on Lincoln in Anaheim. Also the Anaheim packing house is awesome if they have that open. There is a variety of restaurants there.

Moving is hard my husband and I just moved into a new place it is upstairs boy was my legs sore after going up and down the stairs and to my brother's truck . Glad you are expected about your new apartment. Katie glad you are ok sorry about your fall . Love DTF lots of fun places to eat and shop . Try some muscle cream on your body and a nice warm shower to help ease the pain of your body akes . Be careful Katie - I know how suddenly you can fall - had a recent fall on a walk when I stepped on a slippery dock with slight decline and ended up doing the splits. Never done splits before and 61 years old now. Fortunately only bruised knee and toe but certainly stretched my quad muscle. So glad nothing broken. Step gingerly and don’t hurt yourself !
