Tommy, you don't need to do the alternator relocation kit from Holley. You have a truck timing cover which relocates the alternator to the top on the driver side. The hi-ram should clear it fine

Awesome engine package! I like how both of you are planning everything like getting the suspension in the car ready for more horsepower, most people your age will just hurry up to get it in the car then finding themselves going backwards or having to redo a bunch of stuff. My big thing when building a car is to set up the suspension first for the horsepower you are going to have.

I put a 440 stroked out to a 505 in a customers 71 Dart swinger. The headers literally had to go on top of the tires where the fender wells used to be to make it fit. It was tough making it fit. It looked awesome though the way the headers were going around the tire and of their backside. It looked so radical.

Christmas, for 2 or 10 years came very early for Allison, Tommy, and Jeff! And he thought the project just completed! A new beginning, a continuing, saga in project Dart is about to begin. No way all that just gathers dust I say for another full season. Take your time and do not over extend, seat time first, slow meticulous build, do it in stages, great plan kids.

There is an old PFI video of a twin turbo 3rd gen hemi swapped into a first gen dakota on their dyno. The engine is basically stock, not sure what efi system they were running, but it made a thousand horsepower with tuning. FYI, the weak link in the 3rd gen Hemi is the connecting rods. I would definitely upgrade them......

going to be an awesome build looking forward to seeing it, but i would highly recommend selling the eagle heads and finding apache heads when money allows, they have a huge performance advantage. a 392 with a cam, that intake, headers and the right converter has potential to go Deep into the 10s if not 10.0s N/A. definitely excited to the dart build

Sbe 6.4 hemis make some serious hp and tq cam only. Just make sure you have a high idle rpm to keep those lifters oiled and use ow/5w-40 oil.
