😂 I put Duck Dynasty on for my cat when we leave so she can hear prayer during the day. It was the one show we all watched together, even when my son was becoming a teenager. But my best memory is how much my mama loved the show and told everybody about it when it first came out. She has been gone 3 years so I cherish how hard she laughed explaining the show to me. May I ask what caused you to get back on track spiritually? I've been in a rut for years in regard to what I believe. And I would consider myself an atheist who desperately wants to be proven/convinced otherwise. I just don't understand what's holding me back. I have a very loving marriage and family, so I'm not living a miserable life. But I do feel something is missing, and I think it's faith. I just can't convince my brain to believe. (I know it's probably ridiculous asking strangers such a personal question & telling my business. But I truly am doing a lot of soul-searching, and input from anyone is appreciated right now.) My 12 year old daughter and I recently started going to church again and because of that she's been listening to you and your family spread the word of God and she absolutely loves you guys. Also showed her the reruns, all 11 seasons, and she loves the prayer at the end of every episode. Her prayers now before meals and before bed now sound like Phil. Something so great about duck dynasty is also that you don’t have to worry about streaming it in your house. Your kids can watch without the fear of them seeing something of the world as well as adults and filling our time with a Godly family versus all of the new world sinful things that we shouldn’t necessarily be watching. My three boys and I started watching Duck Dynasty when my oldest was about 4 years old, and my youngest was a baby, maybe even earlier. They’re now 5, 7 and 9 years old, and we still watch the reruns. My husband works out of state but when he’s home, Duck Dynasty is the only tv show we have ever thoroughly enjoyed together, and watch and laugh as a family together. ❤ The Robertsons have such a special place in my heart-Sadie, been watching you for years, and get so much from your podcast! So excited for this new era of the Robertsons and can’t wait to see the everyday lives and little ones, and the classic Robertson humor that is so endearing to multiple generations. 🎉

Its gonna be sad not seeing Phil, so I'm hoping that there will be lots of clips from the past thrown in to the newer era, as a way to keep Phil part of the show. The thing that made me appreciate Duck Dynasty was how involved the famiy was involved with the children and sitting at the dinner table as a whole. It's in my opinion that what's wrong in society today not at the dinner table as a family. As kids we were required to be at the dinner table every night at 6 o'clock unless you had permission to be elsewhere, if you wanted dinner otherwise you can go upstairs to your room and you would be called down when it was time to do the dishes, if your name was on the calendar it's your turn weather the calendar was right or not. The dinner table was where conversations were discussed how are day or week as going and how could they help make it better for you, it was where all family discussions were held.

Duck Dynasty literally helped me get through some of my darkest days when I was spiraling out of control with a major drug addiction,I know its just a reality TV show but watching the show gave me hope of what real family and laughter and faith can do in our lives , I thank my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST everyday that he rescued me in the time he had planned all along ive been clean and sober for over 6 years and what a miracle it has been .Thank you Roberston family for all that you do and GOD BLESS ALL
