Finally! Here's a tour of our new apartment, which is really an officetel, which just means an apartment with appliances that's usually meant for an office.

You can put a rectangular mirror above your bed on the wall. it'll make you room look larger. Or you can put wall stickers. There a many designs from flowers to animals to words to buildings. it'll jazz up the bare wall

@Luna87 they probably put it up, since the main point of renting spaces to people is that you keep the space "unused and clean". things like that are relatively easy to find in Korea... they have tons of stationary stores.

Nice place! We lived in military housing when we lived in Korea so it was mostly western style appliances (washer AND dryer, full size oven) and 110 power. It had those cool glass cabinets that would open up and down (not side to side like a door...) and I loved those! I want to install some in a home when we buy/build. I miss Korea. :( I also miss the way I could hose down the bathrooms to clean, so nice since I have two boys... well three if you include the husband!

you should paint your wall first and then after you choose which color you want to paint your wall you should buy furniture like big spinny chairs or stools(whatever you think would look good in your room) and then after that get a awesome bedspread ,a bunch of throw pillows and your room will be complete! also for your bathroom you can just buy like enssence or a foot spa and if you like spa type things you should mae a relaxation/spa station in your bathroom.... and thats my suggestion.

They're called Shadow Boxes. You can find them at craft stores or IKEA, places like that. You decorate them however you want!

I also live in such an apartment. This is so great. Below me is a newspaper shop and an Asian restaurant. I live right in the center of the city and the university is only 5 minutes away. AWESOME!!!

Kimchi is Korean side dish, made of fermented vegetables, and the most kinds are made with hot pepper flakes, among other ingredients. There are 187 varieties of Kimchi, ranging from not spicy to really hot.

Paint a Mural over the walls. Take a picture of you favorite outdoor scene or story and the project the image on the wall, pencil in the images and paint away. I know you guys are incredibly creative..so it would come out very well.

Super adorable! You guys could get some decals like the ones in the kitchen, it would really tie together the house...There are a whole bunch online--also, there are some really cute chalkboard decals that you peel&stick and use chalk to draw on!! REALLLY FUN! :) hope that helps

you guys make real fun vids i think you've adapted into Korean culture and language really well, b/c seemingly there is no difference btw you an the natives so two questions :1. is it possible to live in Korea without being so assimilated? I mean perm not on just for vacation 2. I noticed a lot of cutesy plushies and things, stickers, pics, on the walls but no art culture. Do Koreans hang paintings on the wall? i dont mean posters but actual canvasses or framed paintings..

You can get a bed head so the mattress doesn't just sit against the wall, and you could also hang a rail above the sliding doors and put curtains there to cover the "Solarium" - other than that...i don't know a framed painting/canvas?
