I know they played 14 games in 1969. Vikes lost the opener, won 12 in a row, then lost the last regular season game. 12-2 in 1969, 12-2 in 1970 and 11-3 in 1971.

Typical Vikings. They have the game well in hand and somehow they allowed the Bears to comeback scoring 11 points in a matter of seconds. Their first mistake, was not kicking the ball deep into the end zone which would have forced the Bears to go 70 yards with NO time outs. Then, the kickoff was returned to the Vikings 40. Instead of the defense having a killer instinct and putting the game away they allowed the Bears to score and get a 2 pt conversion. Next, during the onside kick, Johnny Mundt decided to let the ball hit him apparently not realizing it's a no-no, WTF! Next, the defense again gives up too many yards for a game tying kick. Thank God Sam Darnold was spectacular in the OT. Hey, the Vikings are 9-2 but they seemingly always prefer to make it hard on themselves, why! Good show guys! 👍
