Our Pen-Y-Fan adventure

It was our annual August caravan holiday and this year we went to the Brecon Beacons, staying just outside Brecon town itself.
We had plans to do some walking around the hills and we hoped to clime the big one, Pen Y Fan, if it was family friendly. I looked up the route to the summit on KZbin and I stumbled upon a channel which had a young girl and her Mother climbing via Cribyn and showed my little boy Mikey. He was excited and said he wanted to climb Pen Y Fan, as he wanted to touch the clouds.
This video hopefully shows how easy it is to walk to the highest peak in South Wales. Mikey was only 6 when he completed the walk starting from the slightly harder route next to the Storey Arms and up to the summit via Corn Du, the second highest mountain in South Wales.
