Amy P Yep, I’m a Georgia resident, pretty much their upstairs neighbor, and can vouch that the humidity is pretty bad almost year round. Makes even a cool day feel muggy and meh.

Omg, I know. I'm from Louisiana and moved to Northern California for two months. When I got to the door of the plane to get off back in New Orleans, the 95% humidity hit me like a hot camel fart. It's absolutely no joke.

They've mentioned it many times - in summer, it rains every day in Florida. It can be 95 degrees with 95% humidity. That can put you down. I can't imagine having to take an umbrella wherever you go during summer. Here in California, it almost never rains in summer. We can go 7 or 8 months without rain. And although the days over 90 degrees are few, at 35% humidity, you dry off as fast as you sweat. If you're in the shade, it feels fine. Another major advantage we have at Disneyland is, with no water, no mosquitoes to speak of either. I mean, they exist, but are few and far between. You can go out on a summer night and never get bit. Disneyland may be smaller, but it has some major advantages.

I live in Arizona now, which is pretty wet for a desert. Now I get the joys of both worlds. Dry and hot then a monsoon storm rolls through and makes it humid enough to have a disastrous hair frizz-out.

I hope after the baby is born KZbin doesn’t disable comments, since the seem to do that to videos with minors in them. I hate not being able to comment! On a side note, that’s one thing I love about Disneyland that they do better than WDW: seasonal rides and decorating. The HM was not Halloween themed in WDW. Nor do they change It’s a Small World for Christmas like Disneyland does. Disneyland is just the place to be for Halloween and Christmas.

I’m pretty sure It’s because SOOO many tourists go to WDW over Disneyland as their one big trip, Disneyland is definitely the spot for locals/California residents so we go all the time, so WDW doesn’t want to change their rides for those people who are visiting the park as their one trip

yes but you can detect hurricanes in advance and prepare. Earthquakes are random and unexpected.

Earthquakes can happen anytime of the year while there is a specific season for hurricanes to occur. Also doesn't California get large wildfires pretty frequently? and don't even get me started on air pollution over there lol

@@sarabaurley8498 i live in CA and the air pollution has only gotten bad after the one fire in Paradise. Once in my life. Air pollution will be worse in any major city of course because of cars and the high-density of people. Yes, earthquakes can happen any time of the year, but they're often very small so you can't feel them. Once in a while there'll be a bigger one (literally only once in my life) but it doesn't cause hardly any damage unless it reaches like 9 lol. The biggest one I've experienced was a 5 and I've lived here my entire life. Air quality is fine and I live near a bunch of major cities. Houses are made to withstand earthquakes where it's harder for houses to make it through a hurricane without any damage.

I always touch the plane for good luck, and say "Please get us there safely" each time too. If I ever sent to DL, I'd LOVE to stay at the Grand Californian - love the vibe (reminds me of WL, which I adore!), and also the entrance to the park! That Oogie Bogie cake is INSANE! That mufaletta sald looked delicious! I love to go to POFQ in WDW, get the mufaletta sandwich, and beignets!! Shame they rushed you like that. I haven’t been to Disneyland since March 2017 and we got so lucky because the day we went was a low crowd day. We didn’t get to see fireworks either. I love their Small World and Pirates compared to ours in FL. I also loved Mr. Toads as a kid so it was nice to ride that again. We are at Cafe Orleans too - loved the pome frites!We will need to plan a trip there next year around this time so we can ride Haunted Mansion. I love Nightmare before Christmas! We are going to Shanghai Disney in December, and I’m so excited to ride their Pirates and Tron. Love your hat, Jenn!!

Yep beautiful weather... up north and down south in Cali. I’m a northern Cali resident so i can attest to the beautiful weather....So beautiful that they charge $2200 a month for a 600 feet one bedroom to live here. Hope y’all enjoyed Disney!! I’m road trippin there shortly!!!
