What a crazy span of events!!! As we make progress on all of our projects, we end up running into a few road blocks here and there. After watching the house, barn and Porsche get a little more things done, we run into the unexpected. Cant wait to share it all with you guys! Thanks For Watching!!!

Hi guys, I used to work in the burn unit and wanted to chime in. Steam burns are some of the sneakiest out there. That burn looks pretty gnarly for day 1. It is probably gonna look and feel worse over the next 3-7 days. Frankly alot of serious burns are missed in the ER because they don't initially look that bad. Over the next few days take notice of any spots that don't have sensation or don't hurt, any spots that appear whiteish (these are usually under ruptured blisters), and if you start to feel unwell / sick. If you notice any of those go the the Dr. right away. Stay safe.

I feel your pain bro. I was making fries and the pot caught on fire. I tried to move it outside and the oil sloshed over my hand, the skin literally melted off my hand. I'm glad your mom is ok. Take care of yourself...Oh I just remembered they used silver impregnated dressings to help treat my burns. Apparently it has antibacterial properties . ✌️

Sorry for what you've through! A very useful measure to take is to brake a couple of raw eggs and poor them on the burn. They absorb heat very quick and the egg's white essentially softens ans starts the healing process on the skin. I am a master grill cook myself and I've burnt my right palm when i grabbed the charcoal poker, which one of the helpers dropped in the fire and left it right next to me without telling me.. My hand literally stuck on it, but it's been three weeks since and my hand looks like it never happened

Definitely get some support mid way on that deck span. It will sag over time. I don't care what the span chart says. I've built decks for 24 years. Don't even think about putting a hot tub on it either without some major support. Just looking out guys.

I’m a structural engineer and this comment is spot on! Span doesn’t take in context pressure displacement over 48 inches. Reinforce both vertical and angle horizontal force. This will reduce the pressure by 60 percent!

Hope you get well soon man! On a side note, ones never force opening a pressure cooker. Lift the valve until all pressure is gone. Also, never let cool it off with water to speed up the process... If for some reason, your valves get stuck, let the cooker resting until the pressure is gone.

He didn't force open the cooker, it sounds like the lock failed, which does happen sometimes. He just opened the release valve and the top came off.

I'm sure that was quite a scare getting burned like that. Simeon sounded pretty rattled by that event! Last year about this time I suffered a really deep 2nd degree burn to most of the palm of my hand. The feeling you get when it first happens, you're just waiting to see how bad it really is! Happy you are safe man, I had a pressure cooker explode on me when I was 12 , my first reaction was to get in the shower.When I did I just watched my skin just melting off.I had third degree burns on my head,face,stomach and right thigh.I literally had to stay in bed for a few weeks as my skin healed.I am now 27 and I still have scars on my stomach and thigh .
