Here are my 3 crazy predictions (and underneath why bcs why tf not): 1. Lando Norris pole 2. Daniel beats Yuki 3. Ferrari upgrades arent challenging for P1 (like the rumours are saying they will). 1 - Lando has had a VERY good record here. P3 in 2021 in a great drive, P3 in 2022 in a much slower car. P8 in 2020 in his first weekend there. Lando's track record in Imola is VERY tidy. 2 - Daniel has a very good track record here too. P3 in 2020 with Renault, P6 in 2021 and was close to Lando for the majority of the weekend, and then was arguably quicker than Lando in 2022 up until his turn 1 incident in the race. 3 - Way too much of the hype has come from Italian media. I believe Ferrari are cooking, but I think McLaren's amazing upgrades has led to Italian media and Ferrari fans thinking their upgrades will be even more effective (even tho McLaren have gained the most in the last 8 months via upgrades by a MILE). I think they'll be good, but I highly doubt they'll be that good. I think McLaren's pace in Miami has got a lot of Ferrari fans thinking that their upgrades will be just as efficient when that isnt always the case and is unlikely considering how good McLaren have been at developing their cars for the last year, compared to Ferrari...

@@agraiell5048 I don't even think they'll be underwhelming, I just don't think they'll be as good as all these Italian Media sites claim Ferrari's factory "rumours" it will be. I hope they are like the McLaren upgrades but I'd be suprised if a team that hasnt taken a mid-season step forward since 2021, suddenly starts producing upgrades like McLaren are (they are bcs of nee facilities and staff structure something Ferrari have neither of).

@@Persoc No, but you also havent made any changes to how you produce upgrades. 2022 had plenty of upgrades, none of them made a big difference, Red Bull still ran away from you. Lasr year you made plenty of upgrades, Red Bell still held that distance from you. You havent made a SINGLE change to how you produce upgrades, why tf would they suddenly be so efficient? You have a lot to learn bro. Fred is good, but Ferrari are yet to get the change they need to the package development process. They havent won championships bcs they're upgrades arent good enough to keep up with the leading team by the end of the season, its been the case for over 10 years...

not nessesarily on this weekend, but if Carlos and Charles wont crash at some point this year (doesn't even have to be race ending, just so that something breaks on at least one of the cars) we have to acknowledge their skill and trust in each other. Since last years Monza it feels like they are close to it every other GP and while other team mates come together all the time, including some very good drivers like Nando and the Mercs (nice band name) and some other people, those two chaps just somehow make it stick. I respect that and I'm interested how this sorta thing works out next year at Ferrari.

They stick because they are two incredibly good drivers. Both Charles and Carlos have incredible precision while driving, and they also know very well what to expect from one another. Plus being teammates, they have some respect in them that keeps them from going at 110% when fighting.

And that was at Miami, with low abressive surface. Imola is a track thats quite heavy on tyre wear (like Japan where Oscar has always been MILES off Lando).

@@Jaco_Schutte Nobody is making excuses for Max. The data shows there absolutely was a difference between before, and after hitting the bollard. Furthermore, if you actually watched the race. it was obvious. Not to mention having watched the slow motion of him hitting the bollard, you can see a huge chunk of the floor flying out the back. Of course it had an effect on downforce/performance.

crazy prediction: SOMEHOW tyres will be hell this weekend maybe due to rain or temperatures or pirelli master plan, max will have a small compromise having to pit in a sub-optimal time and will be thrown back to third behind checo, who will be having a splendid pace all weekend, and then after Max is right on his tail, SHENANIGANS will happen and max may get a puncture and/or front wing damage, checo might spin and go to the gravel, maybe returning to the race or DNFing, Leclerc with a bold strategy by ferrari will stay in the lead with sainz in 2nd and a FURIOUS verstappen in 3rd

Kmag might be the biggest caster curse there ever was. If a safety related infraction happens in practice leading to a race ban. If that happens, another driver will get his seat for at least one weekend. If that happens...I don't know if Kmag will get his seat back after the ban. That's a lot of if's; but I would not be shocked if that happens at some point this weekend. I mean, technically Bearman is still doing better than Hulkenberg in the standings. Imagine, Tommy caster cursing someone so hard that they lose their seat.
