I work from home but due to the quarantine here in Los Angeles I can’t work right now as I’m a baker for party’s and events. I’ve taken all my baking goods and started getting creative with my dinners and made home made pizza last night. Taking my dog for night walks when it’s not raining and spending time with my dad who I live with has been really nice. Going to start painting again and throw an art show with my sister once this is all over. Most of all I’m self caring. I have the time now to rest and give myself the care it needs by sleeping and eating better. Stay safe and thank you for your videos they are so amazing!

I volunteer for a community outreach that supplies food to our elementary and high school children in need on the weekends. We’re fortunate that our county schools provide free breakfast and lunch to all the kids, and they will continue to do so for pickup, even though school is closed. Our organization is working to start home deliveries of non-perishable food for the weekends, so I’ve been busy the last 3 days making delivery lists and maps for our volunteers to start delivering food next week. It keeps me busy and I have the reward of knowing it’s going to help over 100 children! Right now, we plan on delivering food for the next 4 weeks.

Also bought season one of TV series “Last Man Standing”, and hubby and I limit ourselves to two episodes a day. We go outside and sit on porch an hour a day for fresh air. I am going to clean out some closets as this drags on...read a couple books...and enjoy some down time. Trying to stay positive and look on bright side. It will be okay. I dont have much of a creative side, as I've got Autism myself. One thing I did come to learn and realize, is this is the time to do your spring cleaning. If you are one who says you want to be the ultimate spring cleaner, and rid of EVERYTHING useless in your home, allot time now to do such a thing. Gather it together! And put it in boxes. And put it in the garage or somewhere. I know yard sales arent happening now, and like our local Goodwill is not open. Find the things that have gone missing within your home. Organize, go through stuff, purge or get rid of items you dont need anymore. Another thing you can do is save money in other aspects. Save money towards a vacation you can take once this is all over, or just save money for a rainy day fund that you always wanted to start. Only buy the food and other essential items. One thing you can do is change your password to one of those impossible to remember passwords. Delete all saved cards off of all your favorite sites. DO NOT SHOP! That's what I'm doing. I NEEDED a band for my smartwatch as my one that came with it was breaking, so I ordered it off of Amazon. I NEEDED a heating pad, so I also ordered that off of Amazon. I'm not shopping though for ANYTHING ELSE.

My son is a Senior also this year the public schools in my area just closed on March 18th till April 3rd. I have him check his school device daily for assignments before getting him to do chores. His chores list has grown since the school closed. I have issues with my back and legs so he is doing all the laundry for the family ( my boyfriend works during the week), the dishes, cleaning and helping me with our 3 dogs. I let him stay in his room playing games and rarely let him go visit my mom downstairs. My brother and I had to put our foot down with mom bout going out now cause she is in that age bracket and has serious health issues. The only time my son goes down is to help her to get back in bed or get her food. Also if I can get both my girls up in my apartment we play CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY ( not a game for everyone) and maybe Trivia Pursuit. I have a couple jigsaw puzzles we can do also.

Kids love watching plants grow. You can get pinto beans, soak them 24 hours and open them up. It’s amazing! The first leaves are very visible inside the bean you can see clearly with magnifying glass. Experiment with the beans, give some sun, some dark, some water, some no water, observe how as the plant grows it points to the sun. Or grow real food! Tomatoes are easy! Or see what grows by putting in water from your refrigerator. Carrot tops, onion bottoms will grow new greens. Go to KZbin for other plant ideas!

The governor here in Indiana has closed all public schools until at least May 1st. A lot of counties and towns are restricted to only essential travel. I can't really quarantine because I still have to work, which btw I work in a private daycare/preschool, and a lot of the kids we get are whose parents who work in the medical field or some other public worker that needs to be out working at this time and we want to remain open as long as possible to provide care to their kids, but when I'm not working I am quarantined to my house and just clean my house or catch up on tv shows or go sew something. Stay safe and healthy everyone. Together we can and will get through this. 🙂😊

I have a recommendation for people living in apartment buildings. Put spring decorations in your windows so that your neighbors and people walking by can see them. It brightens things up a little. I made st. Patrick's day rainbows and gold out of construction paper and soon I'll switch it out for construction paper bunnies and flowers.

Watching this way after the fact. I'm binge-watching like 23 of your vlogs that I haven't watched yet. Anyway, our family has been blessed to not be financially hit by this, but I have friends who are really struggling. I'm sort of homeschooling my kids, waiting for their school to provide more specific lessons. But I'm not killing myself over it. Being casual. I do believe people will appreciate life more after this. Everyday stuff we take for granted. And people are helping each other. My friend had us come by and get a 4-pack of tp from him. LOL. My husband and I are introverts, but we do miss going out to eat, going to the mall, etc. We also miss seeing my parents and my in-laws. I have anxiety, so I've struggled at times with just life being kind of uncertain right now, but I'm alright.

You guys should be so proud of what you do! I've been watching since about August and I can't stop watching. Thank you for teaching me awareness about Autism. 💕
