Red Bulls behavior is just crazy different compared to just three years ago. They kicked Albon and Gasly out for much less compared to the bad performance of Perez right now. I just do not get how they go from "6th place in the second best car is not good enough" to "oh you crashed again and did not even make it into Q2, that's fine, here is a contract extension.". It just crazy how they tolerate this absolutely terrible performance during a time they need a good second driver to secure the constructors championship. It drives me insane, because I just can not comprehend why they are keeping Perez, where is the cut throat Red Bull we all know.

I think you forget how far ahead Max was of Albon and Gasly. Max was always top 5 and a frequent podium finisher. Albon and Gasly were hovering around top 10. That being said Perez has now dropped below that level.

Once you drive out of the garage, you should have to exit the pitlane at the pitlane limiter speed, no pausing. If you want to wait longer you should stay in the garage for longer.

Just put some sort of minimum speed limit on the fast lane. If people are quing while the light is red, they are allowed to be stopped in place and once they move again they have to adhere to the soeed limit. Or could even ban quing so there would be no need to police that. If a driver has to go slower than the minimum, give them a fine/penalty or if they were forced by other driver then give the other driver unsafe release or something.

The need to install a minimum speed in the pit. Or even better a fixed speed. So in the pit lane only on the limiter. If they line up for red at the end of the pit they should just get a green light and it should turn red after a car has passed, stay red for 3-5secs and then go green for the car. If you dont drive away immediately when the light turns green, you get a 10place grid drop. Problem solved.

Ricciardo could actually be a valid alternative for Red Bull, at least for a try run. In the past, we have seen drivers struggle in one team but improve a lot in another. At that point we had 5 "Brits" in the top 5 🤣. It was a terrific qualification session, not knowing whether it was going to rain - or where on the track if it did. Kept us viewers on our toes, let alone the teams! Let the best man win tomorrow, regardless of who it is. I hope it's a clean, hard race that the racers can thoroughly enjoy. (No, that wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, but the entire grid.) Btw, congratulations to Logan for qualifying so well today. Alex showed that the car has great potential, but Logan wasn't far off him at all throughout Qs 1&2. I know it's probably too little too late for him, but I'm truly hoping he gets to at least enjoy racing for the rest of the season and is able to demonstrate that he has talent to other forms of racing. Let's be honest, unless there's a current or very recent F1 driver reading this, he's better than any of us!

It’s tough because I’d love to see a Russell or Antonelli title win at Merc next year, but I don’t want to see questions of has Hamilton just missed out on his (official) 8th title again. Verstappen to Merc also moving closer to being possible, would be a big boost to Merc after losing Hamilton and would implode Redbull

Too early to tell regarding next year, Merc just turned it around out of nowhere when many thought they wouldn't. Ferrari will come closer to the front again, just unfortunare to have a bad update package when 2 of your rivals have good one's.

If they made a rule like, the timer runs out but the last car that crosses the line to start a lap after the timer ends can finish the lap but that also has flaws cause of track evolution so there is no real solution

This has been happening for 3 years now, Checo has a good season start, completely falls apart during the European circuits, and then slowly recovers later on and people think that he can change.

To be fair, Max ended up in the gravel at the exact same position as Checco did, with the difference that he was lucky enough to get out of if and not getting beached...

No, the difference was Max carried on though the gravel (which had more grip in those conditions) a d kept his car straight so it didn't spin. You'll notice magnesson was also able to not spin and get through there as well. Check tried to turn on the wet runoff, and on slicks he was always going to spin there.

Waiting in the pit lane to build a gap, is allowed. The logic is that it's safer to do it on the pit lane than to do it on the track. I'm surprised they don't know it because the commentators have said this in almost every qualifying session.

Can change the pit row issue by making the 0:00 where you need to ben on the pit fast lane rather then at startfinish
