Y’all we all love Baekhyun but i think we can easily agree Taemin is ‘smoother’ and just a better dancer in general. yes i agree, but i think he was making the comparison of a certain move baekhyun did in candy, not the whole dance etc. He was talking about the part where its almost end of song and baekhyun was doing foot moves while singing a note (it was very smooth indeed) both are smooth so in that aspect and certain part, i cant say taemin was more better than baekhyun, bc the moves were both different. basically i understand what u mean, but also realize he wasnt talking about the whole thing, just a certain part of the song/dance.

I'm an EXO-L but if u don't know Taemin is a legend you don't know kpop, he's one of the best performers if not the best in Korea and one of the most loved and respected artist. Jaejoong(DBSK/JYJ), GD(BigBang) and Taemin(SHinee) are the most successful solo artists from 2nd gen, love all of them and their music but each one focused more in what they love the most, thats why i think Tae is the most complete cause he dance and sing. You have to do more reactions of him. 😉

The look and feel for "Move" is very specific, it's supposed to be androgynous and gender neutral. Early in his career when Taemin was growing up in SHINee he was known for his feminine look and the fact that if he wore girls clothes most people would never know he wasn't a girl. (And if you have ever seen him dressed as a girl, you would see why. He could really pass as a girl, especially when he was younger.) It took him a long time to accept the fact that he was known for his looks and the fact that everyone thought of him as a "pretty boy," etc. So, at this point in his career as a 24 year old (Hie is 27 now) he was trying to make a statement about how he has now come to terms with just being himself and not caring what people think. Dancing is art and movement has no gender. The blue color is supposed to represent the cool chill vibe of the song, but you also should know that SHINee's fan color is aqua blue/green, so you will see a lot of blue/teal/green shades in the things the members of SHINee do. The female dancer who is dancing with Taemin in "Movie" is a famous choreographer. She is the one that choreographed the MV. Her name is Sugawara Koharu and she is a very famous Japanese choreographer who has choreographed dances for several Kpop groups, as well as American artists. She has worked with Taemin a lot over the years and she is the one that also choreographed Taemin's dance for his songs "Want" "Flame of Love" and "Sayonara Hitori" and helped choreograph Taemin and her performance on the competition program Hit the Stage -- "Devil" performance, etc. Taemin and Sugawara are really good friends. She was also the choreographer for SHINee's song "Good Evening." and she choreographed the dance for Girls Generation's song "Love&Girls" among others. She loves working with Taemin because his dance style and personality is very similar to her's so they mesh really well together, and that is one of the reasons why she has been featured in several of Taemin's projects. Plus, Taemin and all the members of SHINee, are also one of the most famous artists in Japan and they all speak fluent Japanese, so they have no problem communicating through dance or language.:D A lot of people have tried to cover Taemin's songs and dances over the years, but no matter how good of a dancer they are, it is quickly apparent that there is just something about the way Taemin moves that can't be duplicated. Taemin is Taemin and there is no one else like him. The dance is never as sharp or precise as the way Taemin does it. That is why he is hands down considered one of the top two BEST dancers in the industry. (Kai from EXO, being the other top dancer.) And that's not just a fan's opinion, but it's a title given to him by his peers and the industry as a whole. Taemin has taken a few ballet lessons, but he is not a ballet dancer. Taemin's style of dance is uniquely Taemin. As he has said, he has worked his entire career to create a style of dance that is unlike anything in the Kpop industry. And I would argue that that now extends to the entire industry of dance. Taemin started out as a self-taught popper and locker and as a trainee he focused on that style of dance. But even as a trainee it was clear his skills as a dancer went far beyond the average dancer. Over the years, as you see with "Move," he has infused those popping and locking skills into his now more contemporary style of dance. But, when it comes to dancing, he can do it all and there is no one better at it than him.

he's the best dancer in the industry, from my subjective, but also an objective view. He had been more talented at his debut already than most idols are years into their career, and he honed the strength he had from the beginning, developing it into an art that goes beyond what people usually are able to reach when hitting their limits. You may prefer other dancer's style more than his which I totally respect, but in terms of capability, versatility, control and pure skill, Taemin is on an entirely different level. As a fan of Taemin, it was really interesting to see your point of view and the things you noticed that I never really did!! Thanks for choosing to react to Taemin!!! Move has got to be one of THE smoothest male kpop comebacks (if not THE smoothest) in history, full stop, no cap. it's pretty genre'd between what male and female kpop artists are kind of expected to do, so when taemin released Move, a much more subtle kind of power that didn't try to shy away from his androgynous charm, people NOTICED. what taemin did started a whole movement ("move disease") and he gained a lot of celebrity fans, haha. if you want to see more smoothness and sensuality i recommend performances of "Want"!! "Press Your Number" preceded Move, but is also pretty MJ smooth, too. Also his latest release, today, called Criminal! It goes in a different direction, but still. :) PS. Taemin's specialty back in the day was actually NOT ballet, but popping! Michael Jackson and the kpop star Rain were his biggest inspirations.

When it comes to vocals, give it to Baekhyun, he's always had a strong, stable vocal even before entering SM and to this day still takes vocal lessons while Taemin was considered tone-deaf by the coach during his trainee days and, by continuing to train his voice over the years, has now the vocal he has. Baekhyun's solo career is shorter than Taemin's but he's been turned more into R&B while Taemin will give you sensual, performance-based Pop. In terms of dance, Baekhyun is nowhere near Taemin, I see him as someone who is able to dance well and learn choreos fast but Taemin is in a league completely different from anybody else in the whole kpop industry. They have their strengths and it's a reason why they were added to SuperM. But you guys will definitely know by watching more of Taemin's solos. I know Drip Drop, Ace and Press Your Number will blow ya mind and that's on Taemin 'Michael Jackson' Lee!

As Kai/EXO is his best friend, they practiced dancing together since they met in training days. I’m sure Taemin learned ballet from Kai, as Kai trained in ballet. Taemin started dancing because he saw Michael Jackson and you will see his style/vibe in Taemin’s dancing. Even if you don’t get 10k likes (which would be such a shame), you’d be doing a disservice to yourselves and subscribers. Taemin is an amazing singer and dancer; he’s not called one of the best dancers for no reason. Many younger idols were inspired by him such as Jimin/bts, Ten/nct and many more. I recommend you watch his solo debut song Danger (MJ vibe), Thirsty, Press Your Number (performance v), Sayonara Hitori (Japanese mv) and Want. You’ll see the various styles of dance. I'm multifandom but Taemin is my ult ( how could he not be!) almost all of my biases are dancers. so I must recommend: Drip Drop ( his dance moves in that ... WOW. lots of ppl, non-fans especially compared him to MJ!) Tiger Door Press Your Number Famous Want Flame of love ( I love his entire discography, and this song & MV & choreo is soo beautiful!) Thristy & Danger ( just to get a feel of some of his earlier solo work from his 1st mini album, and it's iconic) Loads more but this list is for starters he has a lot of sentimental work from his 1st album and MOVE-ing his second album repackage too!
