If you want to listen to Swedish specific Christmas songs you of course have songs like this and all the other songs that are part of the St Lucia celebration, more religious type of songs. But for more contemporary stuff, the two most popular songs are Mer Jul (More Christmas) - Adplphson & Falk and Tänd Ett Ljus (Light a Candle) - Triad. Both of these songs were part of the most stremed Swedish songs on Spotify list you did erlier. These songs are both from the 80s and are on heave rotation every December. Every Swede knows these songs.

I dont know about Sweden, but here in neighbouring Finland metalheads crossing over to hymns, christmas carols and whatnot is pretty popular. And why not, they are a challenge, fun to sing (if you can) ... and popular. The Heavy Christmas tour tickets sell out too quickly 😊
