Avianca didn't come to this show to leave him. She came to the show to prove to him that she wasn't cheating so he wouldn't leave her. Your therapy advice needs to start there. You have to meet this couple where they are at. Telling her to leave him is something she is not hearing. Teaching her how to navigate a relationship with a controlling boyfriend is something she is most likely to hear. It's called harm reduction (while she stays in the relationship). Antonio is a handsome man so I can see what attracted her, but he needs to therapy on how to treat his partner in a kinder way. That fact that they are both there means that they are probably willing to work on themselves.
