Love how the kitchen have no top cabinet. Looks neater and, this era, we dont keep much cups or plates..... keeping all simple. can't wait to watch the update.

Yes, It's much easier to maintain! But we have since installed a small top shelving from Ikea for frequently used items and so we don't have to break our backs all the time.

How much was the cement screed for flooring? Was the flooring the first thing u guys did?

We paid around 4k+ for the cement screed and subsequently a layer of sealant. Yup! Flooring was the first part of the renovation process.

Just wondering, what are the circumstances that allow an old hdb to be under sale of balance flat? Did the previous owner pass away?

Hi there! There is no way to know for sure. It can be due to a variety of reasons, for example if the previous owners illegally rented the place or had money issues.

Hi there, we have yet to finalise the total cost. Including electrical and plumbing, it is at an estimate of >$50,000. We might share the breakdown in a later video :)
