My name is Cathy from Uganda am a student at an SDA school but what they teach us about the Sabbath rest is not to do anything on a Saturday and they tell us that christians who go to church on a Sunday are doing it in a wrong way. They say that Sunday was a day for the gods in the Roman days My concern is that are we supposed to rest on a specific day. This days really confuse me But at least ur teaching me today has blessed me this morning God bless you

That was under the old covenant. Now Jesus is our rest always- 24/7! We are in Him now- not dependent on a day or time to keep. Keep seeking God in this- He will reveal HIs truth in the matter. All of the work was already finished through Jesus. We are now under His grace.

SDA struggling under the old covenant. Works plus our effort... Pretty much like I was raised in, but in a congressional church. My late husband and I did a bible study with SDA at home years ago... It was pretty good til it came to Sabbath keeping, and not understanding about The Lords day, and about New testament rest... I heard Andrews teaching for the first time about the same time and I ran to the Sabbath rest teaching as I was so tired of legalism and struggling! I think we our present day weekend from putting the old and new day of physical rest together, so in theory we can have both 😉

I believe in miracles but I also believe that God gave symptoms to show us that something we may be eating or drinking may be harmful. I've been healed supernaturally a few times and I've also had to change my lifestyle in some cases to avoid certian illnesses. Point in question: 1 Timothy 5:23

Hi i think God does not give us symptoms but theres consequence on everything. Ever since the first humans on earth God gave us free will, to choose whatever we want and suffer the consequence of it. Our body is not perfect but our spirit is. If we choose to eat badly then our body would suffer from it. The simptoms are not of God. Hope it helps. God bless.

@@eirene434 Hi Eirene. Thank you for your response. I didn't mean to say 'God gives us symptoms randomly' but that He has build into our body/DNA symptoms to help us to know what is going on. For example; if a child puts its hand near fire the child will get burnt. Swelling and blistering (symptoms from the burning) will appear. The symptoms aren't evil but demonstrate that under the swelling and scabs natural healing is taking place. Another example, if you don't drink enough water you becomes 'thirsty.' Thirst is a symptom from your body telling you "hey, drink some water quickly." We still have a duty to care for our bodies and eat good food. If we ignore symptoms how can we address the problem? For the recorded I've been healed by God himself twice - I believe miracles are available for the impossible. But if you believe you're already 'hydrated in the spirit' when your body is crying out for water in the psychical - then we're being silly. God bless you.

This question stems from a different sermon by Andrew. What does the verse mean when it says "till Christ be formed in you"? The reason for this question is that Andrew said that our spirit isn't at first a baby spirit . It doesn't have to grow up.
