@@helenrodriguez2817 Dear Hellen, Thank you for your message If you are oka with this I will tell you that I died in a car crash I was not B Again at the time I saw a brown door in front of me with no door knob on it which puzzled me (I was in my body) I thought I can't open the door so who can? then I saw Jesus he was tall and slim, I didn't see his face but I heard his voice he said, Carol do you want to live? I said yes then he asked me again I gave him the same answer Yes, Then he said to me But you haven't wanted to live since you were a young child, now do you want to live ? and why do you want to live now, I said yes I want to live (I knew the door that I saw was the door to Hell and death and I didn't want to go there, I wanted to go to Heaven ) I told Jesus I wanted to live because I had my son and my Mum to look after. I was back at the scene of the crash .One Year later to the date I met Jesus at a Christian meeting so powerfully I saw my precious Jesus dying on the cross I was crying so much I couldn't stand up he was washing me clean inside from sin as I was repenting and saying sorry over and over again. Then it was as if I had such a heavy bag on my back I was still crying I felt the power of The Holy Spirit take this heavy bag off my back and I started speaking in this strange tongue which continued for a long time, I really didn't understand any of this at all, The Lord showed me slowly and gently what had happened to me I saw the light and I'm so grateful to The Lord Jesus for his mercy .Would you like to tell me your story I would love to hear it Hellen .Just to say I've had cancer in my neck so I know how you feel sweetheart and I will be Praying for you XXX .

I don't know how God feels about diversity per se, but I find it powerful to see people who look like they may come from different nations and backgrounds worshipping together. Being of a different color doesn't mean that someone is diverse in anything but a superficial sense, and I don't beleive that God sees anything other than his own fallen image in human beings. But I see the power in God when I see His ability to sweep away so many differences that fallen human societies invest with such absolute importance. I imagine that was Eileen's original point.

It's a much later invention and in the US in particular it has come to mean something very specific in the last few years." Diversity," too, isn't a word that has strong associations in the Bible. There are Hebrew and Koine Greek words that mean something similar to some of the dictionary definitions of "diversity," but none of these have to do with what the word means these days when used alongside words like "liberal." All that I meant to say is that there is a sense in which I take great joy in what Eileen called the "diversity" in the congregation. This isn't because I share the current progressive obsession with "diversity" as such or think that "diversity" will solve our problems. It won't. God alone can do this by providing us with grace and faith. But when I see people who clearly have ancestors from all nations at a church, I see a clear visual reminder of God's plan to extend the covenant beyond the nation of Israel. And given the way that we are now taught to treat different national backgrounds as walls that will always keep us apart, this is a powerful reminder of the power of God. Our world teaches us increasingly that people of different colors can't really understand or love each other. God doesn't. And just as God can cause seas to part, God can sweep aside these human diversions and obsessions. The words that God speaks can build hearts and destroy lies and illusions. I didn't mean to disagree with what you said. But I also think that what Eileen said can be understood in a way that assumes less about her motivations. Maybe she is someone who turns "diversity" into an idol. There are many such people. But I don't know that, and I don't think we are meant to judge one another. Least of all when we don't quite know what they meant to express in the first place. And that is biblical.

I love you Dr Stanley Ty for saying the truth that Christmas is not shopping, drinking etc. It is also not about Christmas trees or Dec 25 although that is when His birth is celebrated. Jeremiah 10 the Lord says do not do what the heathens do. The axman chops a tree down they decorate it in gold & silver and fasten it so it does not move. Paraphrased. Sounds like a Christmas tree to me & God said DO NOT DO IT. Hosea 14:8........ I am like a green fir tree, from Me is thy fruit found. Paraphrased So the evil one has us ceremoniously cutting the Lord down every year. Why that tree with the thousands to choose from? That is how I see it. Think about it. Zechariah 2 God said Ho, Ho, come forth and flee from the land of the north.paraphrased Santa (satan)says ho, ho! The north? North pole? The evil one is making you worship him and you dont even know it. Same with halloween and easter. NOT passover, the crucifixion of Jesus or the Ressurection. I mean easter...Easter is fertility goddess Ishtar or isis that heathens rolled eggs to her hoping for children, hence the bunny. Do not practice those traditions of pagans!!! It is the RESSURECTION DAY OF OUR LORD & SAVIOR!!! We know Jesus was born in September. Celebrate the birth of Christ our Lord without any worldliness!! Praise the Lord forevermore! !
