Just off of Iona on Saturday an Keel & Cow was our favourite restaurant food an services excellent used most nights an breakfast in morning couldn’t fault it waiter’s so friendly an helpful an remembered our names

@@TomandDomTravel … favourite cruise line is a tricky one , if I want a relatively peaceful and classy time with only 600 passengers aboard it would be Azamara (if I can find a good deal 😂) other than that Cunard and Celebrity would be our go to lines …Cunard for the classical experience, and Celebrity for a bit more bright lights and bling …ps ,it’s great to see a thorough review of all the good and even more importantly the not so good experiences you have on your journeys , look forward to the next instalment…

The breakfast is good in the Keel And Cow, I didn’t have a great breakfast on Arvia in the MDR and we really like the peace and quiet and quality of the breakfast on Keel And Cow even though it was an up charge

Went on it in February for a Canaries cruise, we were unlucky with average age and mobility of the passengers, this meant the decks kept being closed off for "safety" reasons in what we thought was fine weather. We thought it was like being imprisoned in a care home decorated by Wetherspoons.

Keel and Cow is an up charge but i would never think of it as a speciality restaurant. At best it is a bar that serves food. If you want decent service then there are only two places where the up charge provides a better service than the MDR and that is Sindhu and Epicurean

@TomandDomTravel it was fun. The gin was flowing & there were some very happy people. The gin was blended to my taste & I named it. Fabulous few hours.

Hi Guys, you have your DJI Mics set in stereo mode which is great for separating the audio from each of you, but you've left them panned left and right in post - you could probably do with splitting left and right into separate tracks and down-mixing them to mono because it's a very strange audio experience especially when you're sitting on the wrong side to your audio channel! Not a criticism, I just thought you should be aware in case it wasn't intentional! Big fan as always, keep it up because I'm now living my travels desires through your videos :) On a different note I got back from Caribbean Princess a week ago and successfully managed to sample every single premium dessert as promised... I vlogged it on my other channel as a bit of a practise (Tor and Oli) if you want to see just how green someone looks after eating them all. Although I did go back and try the Leaning Tower twice to be fair.

Did Arvia in July and wanted to go in the Keel & Cow but never made it , we're on Iona Sep 21st. thanks for the review, not sure if they just had an off night , we had similar experience in the glasshouse on Britannia but usually top notch , glasshouse on Arvia was fantastic every time, staff were the best ever , hope we have a better experience in Keel and cow as going for the rare rybeye , great reviews thank you , just subscribed.

Just come off Arvia and there were two Gin experiences: Gin tasting or Gin blending. I can't remember how much the Gin tasting was but the Gin blending was £70 per person which included a glass of gin and tonic, a visit to the distillery with an explanation, being taught about the process and then blending your own gin exactly how you liked it which was then bottled and you took away with you. Someone on our cruise had done the Gin blending on Iona and Arvia and said that the experience on Arvia was much better than on Iona. You have to book it pretty much straightaway as places are limited and it does sell out. Would recommend to try it if you like Gin and it is a nice souvenir.
