My hubby planted 20 lbs of yukon gold potatoes and 20 lbs of red. We have our onions in the ground. And he planted carrots and radishes and beets so far.

If you were closer I would bring you my extra starts!! I've gotten pretty lucky putting them in starter mix, bottom watering, with the warming mat. I don't soak mine ahead of time. I try to start extra peppers and tomatoes so that I can give them away to neighbors. It was super helpful last year when people wanted to grow pandemic gardens! Love your videos :)

Your peppers will take a LONG time to germinate, don't throw out the ones that haven't started just yet, give them a little more time and they just might surprise you. Will be starting mine in the next week or so. God bless

Just started my peppers yesterday started beets 4 days ago and tomatoes tomorrow. I am having rotator cuff surgery on 3/17 so I have to do it all soon or it won't happen. Living life with my dominant arm in a sling for several months is not my jam. Oh well, it is what it is. There will be something planted.

I decided to try an experiment. On this 75 degree day in NJ I planted kale, beets, cabbage and broccoli directly into the garden. Only 2 seeds each but I am interested to see if anything happens. And I transplanted my 2 indoor spinach plants into a garden bed. Got frost blankets ready for colder nights. Hoping for the best but won't be upset if nothing sprouts. By the way I love your hair short and good luck with your growing.

I buy my seeds from Park Seed and I just plant the pepper seeds into soil and keep them under light. They all come up and I have to thin.

Yeahhhhhh. I had started my seeds too:) Happy seeding. I keep checking my garden on the temperature so I can put my plants in the ground. Too early, I know but I’m so in a hurry for gardening season:) Are you going to be doing corn this year?

I don't know if I'm going to get my garden in or not. 🙁 We had a goat emergency yesterday. My dairy goat started labor before 1in the afternoon, but I discovered her at around 1. Long story short, ended up having to get help to pull her dead kid out. Vet showed up after it was all over, checked her and gave her a couple of shots, and didn't even charge me. All she had was the one. That means I now have to milk her twice a day. Had not planned on jumping into milking at this time. My schedule is completely thrown off now. 😕

Plant your seeds two weeks apart not weekly. Not seeing you with a glass of wine in your hand while you were explaining something seemed odd so please tell me you had a glass of wine down there with you off camera

So, how long are you holding out for the peppers? Mine took ALMOST 2 weeks to come up, phew. And for hot peppers we put them right in soil and sat it on the egg incubator...and they're just coming up while chicks are hatching lol SEED HOLE, where is that march cuz I'd buy that. Shut your seed hole and garden..
