My kids are 8, 7, 5, 3...we just started our homeschool on Monday & I started PACKING their lunches the night before & OH MY LANZ!!!! I can literally just say “go get your lunch & eat while I...blah blah blah (let the dog out, make my lunch, etc)...it has bee LIFE CHANGING!! I like the idea of creating a weekly meal “schedule”, but packable! Gonna do this for breakfasts too!!

Amy's gf burritos are easy too. I microwave for a minute and bake it the rest like 20 mins. Blue Chips n salsa with it.

My son's school does this so I implemented it at home too! Here is the school menu: Monday - Macaroni & cheese, garlic toast, veggie or fruit Tuesday - Walking Taco, veggie or fruit Wednesday - Hot dog with chips, veggie or fruit Thursday - Ham or Turkey sandwich, veggie or fruit Friday - Pizza, side salad

I love this idea, we have done something similar but not every day. During the school year I make a big pot of soup for dinner once a week so I always serve that for lunch the next day and one day a week we do Mexican food so then I do quesadillas or nachos for lunch the next day to use up any leftovers. Now I need to plan the other days to make my life even simpler. Thanks

I was thinking soup too! What about double batch of chili then next day can serve leftover chili on baked potatoes (just do in microwave to keep it fast/easy)

I’d love to see a video on your salad bar prep! I need to think through how I can implement this - my daughter is only here four days a week, and even then her dad likes to send leftovers with her, which means we’d have to settle on only four choices or come up with options that rotate every other week or even monthly.

Thank you for sharing this! Jady A has shared her meal plan several years ago and I implemented it and life happened and I got off the train soooo I’m getting back on one process and habit at a time. Asking each of my kids now to see what they like for each meal and going to make a rotation. The days we have to leave the house will be packed lunches so we can come home and grab them! I have a snack drawer so I think I’ll have them pick out two snacks for the day also the night before. Whoop! We are killing it mamas!! Haha

My kids go back and forth between 2 different sandwich choices and have for years. I would love to change it up but my youngest has several food allergies and is super fussy so it's tricky balancing everyone's needs!

I appreciate this video. My problem is that there is no meal other than pizza that all three of my kids like (and even then, two like one kind and the other likes something else) so we usually end up having a make your own lunch plate with a protein, veggie/fruit and whole grain. 😊

I just make a base like a regular smoothie but with less liquid so it’s thicker - so frozen bananas, pb protein powder, and a little almond milk, or frozen strawberries and mango, some vanilla protein, and some water, etc.

I like this! My biggest fuss is cooking all meals. So I try to meal plan by if I cook a hot breakfast, then it's PBJ or something else for lunch that I'm not personally standing over a stove to make. And then on cereal mornings, I'll make a hot lunch. If that makes sense. I like these ideas but could you put then in an Instagram post or story written out? Thabk you❤

Yep! Protein smoothie base, then they load it up with sliced fruit, nuts, coconut, etc.
