I have spina bifida too and the dr told my parents that I would never walk either. They started me in physical therapy very young and now I walk with leg braces and live a very normal life with a few modifications that fit my situation. It has never stopped me from doing anything I set my mind too I have no doubts your baby boy will be the same way! Keep your head up mama you got this! Let yourself feel all the feels that you need and like you said take it one day at a time! Y’all are already such great parents and he’s a lucky boy! ❤️

I have a family member who’s baby was born with spina bifida. They did the surgery while he was in the womb, and although he’s had some complications since birth he is doing GREAT, and living a happy little baby life. You guys will get through this, I will continue to pray for you guys. Already the best mama. ❤️

You said later on, “I guess you could call me a mom.” & regardless of how far a long you are/make it, you’ve been a mom. I hope you know that. You have and always will be a mom, since you got that positive pregnancy test. Praying for you.

My 3 year old daughter has Chiari Malformation and tethered spinal cord. She’s had 2 brain surgeries and 2 spine surgeries. I know how overwhelming and scary things can be. We were constantly told all the things she wouldn’t be able to accomplish but she has beat so many odds and has proved many doctors wrong. Keep the faith! Stay positive and strong for yourself and baby Levi! Sending so many prayers your way❤️

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children offers an amazing procedure where they treat Spina Bifida while the baby is still in the womb. Celeste (A Children’s Miracle Network, Miracle Child) had this procedure and is now the most active and adorable little girl. 🥰 Know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and you have so much love and support from the community around you. 💕

You will give that baby the best life any child could ever ask for. Just by you loving that baby and being the best mom and showing him and teaching him you will be doing the best for him. You and Noah will be the best parents ever!!! I’m balling just watching this. I couldn’t even imagine having my first baby and then the doctors saying there seeing early signs of spinal bifida I’d lose it because I’m also not knowledgeable about spinal bifida either, honestly I’m pretty sure no one is when there having there first child let alone a second child. Keep your head up for your little man! You can do it😘😘😘😘

Before I finish the video I just had to comment. Mind you I LOVE your videos and have been with you since the very beginning! I just wanted to say that I know times are super hard right now, to hear of such news that you never imagined hearing in your life. Those hard times are going to pass. After the rain fall, there’s always a rainbow on the other side. You are an amazing person from what I see on your channel, an amazing fiancé, and you will be an EVEN more amazing mother. Motherhood is apart of your life and will be the savior to your life. Baby Levi is strong just like his parents and I’m POSITIVE there will be a rainbow on Levi’s side.🌈🤍 I can’t wait to see more content!

I was born with chairi malformation and had brain surgery and doing pretty good. Anytime you have surgery you’re never 100% however you are better than what you were before. Having surgery that deals with Neuro or cardio is always overwhelming however diagnosis can be beaten. Embrace these moments and the experience of being pregnant. It’s tough right now but you’re doing a great job and always remind yourself it’s nothing that you did. Just keep your faith and head held high and everything will be all right. love you guys.

I’m so sorry the tech at your anatomy scan over stepped her boundaries. When I found out I was going to have my second miscarriage, I was looking at the screen and just knew. But the tech was just so excited to tell me and said “yup looks like another miscarriage”. I feel like in this field they so numb to somethings and just don’t think before opening their mouths sadly 🤦♀️ my heart is with you , your whole family and most of all, Levi. Regardless of what he has, he will be LOVED and that’s all that matters! Also, I’m 36 weeks and also have an anterior placenta 🙁

That’s the thing doctors don’t know anything. My son was born with bilateral clubfoot and they said he most likely has an underlining issue like Down syndrome, spina bifida and other things that could be causing it but those were the 2 that stuck out to me mind you I was alone when I found all this out because of Covid. And when you say the worst day of your life I literally felt that. My son was born completely normal just with his clubfoot and everyone was surprised. They just knew something else was causing it. I know how you are feeling 100% and yea I was told about termination and things but no I loved my son so much then I couldn’t have imagined my life without him.

Might not be the same issue but I feel like you need to know and see this. I got pregnant at the age of 16 with my son. During one they found something and I instantly felt like I was in a black room. My son has septio optic dysplasia. Kids with that it’s a low rate of survival. He was born with half a brain and the other part that was missing was nothing but fluid in that missing spot. I got told to plan a funeral. Doctors after doctors not one had a positive thought that he’d be here. I picked out literally everything. Flowers, casket etc. He was only supposed to be here for 2 hours & would be deaf and blind. 2 hours… his birth was the scariest part ever. I gave it to God. I told God that without him I couldn’t make life. I couldn’t be without my son. My son is now 5 just turned 5. Don’t believe everything a doctor tells you. God is bigger than them and god has this. God has your whole family. Yes it’s scary, but with god on your side I believe everything will be alright. Love you and praying for your family boo 🤍💙
