Hard enough to watch this just in the context of your life and love and new family but also hard because this didn’t work out for my Grandad who had a very similar experience to you up until they tried to induce him into a coma. Breaks my heart thinking of the what ifs; what if he didn’t catch covid, what if the induced coma worked but that’s not a helpful mindset. I’m glad you’re still here with us on this earth. As a student nurse on critical care. This video was fascinating in hearing how patients are once they are recovered and sharing their story. Usually once a patient is off sedation they are so poorly still they don’t want to discuss how they are feeling or their journey as its a lot to process. Thank you for sharing your story. I had Covid back in March way before there was testing and vaccines etc. I caught it from my job as a carer. I came through it okay but last August/September my partner rushed me to A&E where they told me that I'd developed a secondary infection that was similar to sepsis. They also told me that I was on death's door but there were no beds to admit me, so sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics and instructions incase I died in the night! I spent five days on bed rest, having horrific nightmares and hallucinations, missed my 30th and it turns out I was allergic to the antibiotics. This April, I was diagnosed with PTSD and it's been the worst time in my whole life. My body is battered and bruised both inside and out. I can't remember much from that time but my life has changed so much.

I'm so happy Grace is okay. When I found out about Grace's hospitalisation, I was devastated and so frightened but continued to have faith because I knew Grace has always been a powerful spiritual being. I'm genuinely convinced she is an angel on Earth because she just seems to be so strongly tied to the spiritual side of life. I've met Grace before at an event with work and she really does have an ethereal light about her. I wish she was my friend honestly because I just know Grace is a life changing person to be around. My father-in-law is currently in a coma and on a ventilator, they are due to do a tracheotomy tomorrow as they haven’t been able to successfully wake him, twice. And now his organs are taking a hit. He’s been in the coma for almost a month. As awful as the situation is, your story is giving me, my partner and our family much needed positivity and light. Hi I literally just found your page wow what a lot to have gone and be going through. I can certainly share some of the trauma you have gone through. I was diagnosed with a lung disease 7 yrs ago but I didn't know I was so ill until my lungs collapsed literally in the middle of the night out of nowhere. So like you my life flashed before my very eyes. I was taken into hospital and I was moved from hospital to hospital because I need to have different operations on my lungs and breathing tubes then I went back to my local hospital so that I could be near my partner and children who at the time where 7yr and 12.5mnths old and I didn't see my children for 18 days so know where near your time limit but I struggled so I can only imagine how you felt being away from a new born baby and partner. Am so glad that things have moved in the right and positive direction for you and your back home with your beautiful little family ok changes are made but I always say a change is better than never having had the chance to make the change. We had to move also and I had to give up the job I had always had and love I was HCA for the elderly and just loved my job and where I worked so only had my partners income which was hard at first but I have become very good at making a little bit go a long way. Sadly for me I am still oxygen dependent and wear a nasal tube 24/7. As of 2 years ago after suffering yet another collapsed lung (this is a side effect of the disease) I went into hospice care for 3 weeks so that not only cud I rest and heal but also that my pain meds could be adjusted and as am terminal this is the place I go. It was while here that we where told that I actually need to have 24/7 care and so my partner had to give up work to be my main full time carer so now there really isn't much financially coming into the house because no matter what people believe benefits isn't really enough to survive on. Like now my house needs decorating etc coz it hasn't been done since our very quick unplanned move here 7yrs ago but it will take a while coz like all things we have to plan and save. and as there is no cure for the lung disease I have I am classed as terminally ill but I am waiting for a double lung transplant and that has been a hard a very long road but I know my gift will come one day this isn't how my story ends. Am so happy to see how well you have done and I can't wait to watch the progress you make and the growth of your beautiful family. Super super happy I found your channel. I apologies for the long post I have tried to break my story down. Xxxxx
