I personally enjoy nightmare before Christmas during Christmas. The haunted mansion is already spooky for Halloween. I’ll wait until it’s sweater weather to enjoy the vibes 😂 side note, they need to do a Halloween overlay for avengers campus! Spider-Man webs, giant pumpkins from pym particles, Agatha, werewolf by night. So much they can do

Awesome guide! It's almost exactly what my brother and I did when we were there for Halloween and Oogie Boogie Bash in 2021. What we did while rope dropping the Redwood Creek is one of us stayed in line while the other went and did the 2 treat trails by Soarin and Grizzly River Run. Got pics and treats and whatnot and kept the spot in line =) We were first actually lol Thanks David!

Hello, I have a reservation for the Happiest Haunts Tour on Wednesday Oct 18. This includes a reserved fireworks viewing area. As it is a weeknight will there be full fireworks or just projections? Thanks, FB! Perfect timing of this video today! As a Bay Area resident, DLR is close enough for occasional - but too far away for spontaneous - visits. Was blessed to visit during Halloween season 2019 and Christmas season 2021! Discovered I found Halloween season more exciting/fun! Now have a solo DLR visit planned starting next week & will be in both parks between 9/8-9/13

While we love the decorations, especially in Cars Land...We just don't even care about Oogie Boogie Bash anymore...after doing the Halloween Party in Disneyland a few times...and then doing the Oogie Boogie Bash in DCA 3 times...we are just bored with it. We have just been going during a normal non party night during the season to see and do everything we want there and spending most the day in Disneyland.

No Space Mountain now? @freshbaked can you do a video about where the value is at our beloved Disneyland? The prices have skyrocketed, and it seems like they keep giving us less and less attractions baked into the admission price, but more and more for additional costs IE food, merch, lightning lane, etc.

Which of these things apply or don’t apply to Halloween season 2024? For example, is Space Mountain going to be closing? Also, do we know the parade and fireworks schedule yet? Is it only going to be weekends?

It was mentioned that there’s a small influx of people to DLPark from DCA at 6pm on Oogie Boogie Nights, but what about crowd levels at DCA during the day when there’s a ticketed event in the evening? Is it like MK, where the crowd during the day is light? An October trip has been dropped in my lap just now, (no ticket to Oogie Boogie), and I’ve never been before - Just trying to decide whether to do 2 full days at DLPark, or only 1 day there, and then a half-day at DCA. (I don’t do thrill rides/heights, but if DCA has a really light crowd that day, is it worthwhile anyway?) Oh, and I guess I should also mention I don’t want to add to the expense by buying a Hopper.

If you already have a day pass to DCA do you have to leave and get in the Oggie Boogie line outside the park then go back in? This is my first time doing this and I’m a little confused.

not sure if you have to leave, but you would at least have to return to the front entrance to get a wrist band. check with a CM to find out for sure.

I does anyone know why there are differences between the Disney world Halloween food and Disneyland? Disney world got these amazing haunted mansion streets Ching room chocolates and I’m really disappointed that we aren’t getting it. Also sad that Disneyland Doesn’t get a Halloween parade, that seems just ridiculously cheap to say no fireworks during the week AND no Halloween parade.

Generally David I like your content. Seriously, I really do. I don't always see things the way you do and I tend to be overly vocal about it. What I don't like about this one is the title. You make it sound like we're going to war. I mean seriously David. If I have to have a strategy, why even bother going? It's as if a person can't just buy a ticket and go do what they want. Maybe they're going for the candy, or the specialty snacks, or the character meet and greets, or the parades. Whatever someone is going for, it's probably already in their minds on the best way to do the evening how they want to. Which brings me to another thought, if someone has to plan out their trip that hard, down to the last second, why even bother with Disney? I mean really, it's absurd what the Disney Company has turned you into...and anyone else who has to strategize that hard just to do whatever it is they're looking forward to at the parks. Point is, David, maybe you could put together a tips and tricks and leave it at that. For what Disney is charging, I do understand what your intentions were, but please don't come off like this is some kind of war we're fighting. It's Disneyland, go have fun.
