3:59 switching to a smart thermostat helps too I have the Alexa one and you can change the temp on the app. It’s helpful when you’re not home and it lets you know hope much money you’re spending daily

😅 I’m in CA and I turn mine off. I like it at 75 degrees. I barely started using it like two weeks ago so now we turn on during the day. At night we get such a nice breeze yet the inside of the house will still keep turning the AC on all night even if it’s nice and windy outside 😢 so we turn it off in the evenings. And open the windows and by doing this we only pay like $220 a month on a highest month. 😅versus friends that I know who keep it on all day/ night and their bill is almost $500 😢 so the more it’s on and running the more $ for sure!

We keep our house between 76-78 during summer, 75 if its a super hot day!😂😂 I may be the odd one out lol. Our house stays pretty fresh throughout the day mainly because we have a newer house so we have energy efficient windows so it does help keep the cool air in. I also close our curtains when the evening hits to keep the heat out.

I am in Hilton head island, South Carolina. It’s so humid here. Been in the 90’s for a good minute and being at the water it’s so muggy that you sweat as soon as you open the door. Heat index is always putting us over 100. When I say it’s humid af it’s like… the kind of heat where you feel like you’re choking when it gets to like late July early August. And you feel like you’re dying when you hear nothing but the heat bugs. Usually cicadas, mole crickets, frogs and stuff. I hate it here. 😂

n short, the 20-degree rule of air conditioning states that you should always keep your AC unit at no more than 20 degrees lower than the outside temperature. It means that, if the outdoor conditions are at 95 degrees, you should set your thermostat at no less than 75 degrees.

Most thermostats are programmable ladies. Set the night time for 72* so you can sleep cool and set the day for your normal 75* of that’s what your comfortable with. For me 72-73* keeps it comfortable at all times without having to mess with the thermostat to much

45:46 showering before going into a pool is done to make sure your clean. I mean imagine getting in a pool when your sweaty and nasty, now imagine everyone does that, it’s just nasty. It doesn’t have to be a full blown shower, just a quick rinse, if everyone does it then the pool isn’t as nasty. Like I know there is chlorine but I’m get easily grossed out, I refuse to use public pools because people are nasty.

Salt can be good for you or bad the key is what type of salt are you consuming? If it’s table salt that isn’t good for you and the salt used at restaurants and fast food places is table salt. However Celtic Sea salt is amazing! This is the salt that you can put under your tongue and if you try to only cook at home you can control what salt and oil you consume because most restaurants use cheap seed oils that cause inflammation.

On the coffee issue, you have to try Barley coffee and also Golden Milk. I started drinking coffee but I just can't with the caffeine nor did I want to be hooked so I started doing my own barley coffee. I roast the barley and grind then use with almond milk . I also do my own blend of the golden milk with turmeric, ginger, black pepper and cinnamon.
