Omg what is your religion? I am confused. I think you are gyagar khampa.

My Guru H.H The Dalai Lama taught us that Kindness and Compassion is our religion. If NARROW MINDED people LIKE YOU have issues with the way I live my life, then it's seems like a "YOU PROBLEM". I don't need to prove anything to anybody nor owe an explanation. BHOE GYALO ✊️

I enjoy most of your vlogs, but this is a little bit over the top. Sure, we love Indian and Nepali traditions, but if we adopt all their traditions and values, we may forget our traditions and religious beliefs in the long run. I know many of your KZbin fans, maybe from Nepal and India. Hopefully, they have enjoyed this Depawali and Tihar vlog.

Tashi-delek, I appreciate your sound opinion. Here is my take on it since your comment is more respectful than the above. Sometimes, we might not be from a certain "religion" or acquaint as such however the idea and meaning being festivals from different religions and what the festival stands for are celebrated. Tihar or Diwali was and is one of my favorite festivals growing up in Nepal where I was born. I admire the meaning behind the festival and celebrate it in my own terms, but that does not take away the fact that I am rooted to my roots , my religion, and my culture. Though I can't quote it but there seems to have a bit of a connection between Hindu dieties in Buddhism, but I could be very wrong. Just my 2 cents along with my own research. Now, in regards to forgetting one's culture and religion, that is a whole new broad topic though I understand where you are coming from. I only try to spread positivity and light through my channel. I hope this gives you more clarity on my video. Appreciate your comment and your views. May Guru Rinpoche bless all sentient beings and may all be free from suffering. Have a blessed day. Kadrin che 🙏

@TashiDoDo I just wanted to express my own feelings regarding Tihar tradition of applying Tika on the foreheads. I used to live in Nepal, and while we are living in Nepal, we have tried to assimilate with the local traditions, while we are in Canada, we have tried to do the same. I can understand your situation as you were born in Nepal and raised in Nepal, you are feeling Nepal as your own country, that is natural, hopefully you will try to make same vlogs on Christmas and Losar but with moderation especially the other religious traditions. I am not cricizing you for your love for Nepal and it's traditions.

Again, I appreciate your comments and your opinions. However, please read my comment carefully. I have Never claimed Nepal as my country or my feeling of Nepal being my country. I said I was born there. Please don't misquote my comment. I am a Tibetan born in an Exile Nepal and Tibet is my country. When I say my roots, I am very blessed and proud to be Tibetan. When quoting someone or something, we should not modify the statement to your own liking or agenda. It seems like you have not followed my channel closely. I celebrate Christmas and Losar and have videos on my channel just like some other Tibetan vloggers does. I was brought up in Canada. I came here when I was 14 but I never forget for once my roots, Tibetan struggles, and the diaspora.
